Pro Bowl punter Andy Lee finished with a 41.0 net punting average. Prior to this season, no punter had ever recorded a net average of 40 yards or more for an entire season. Lee also had 42 punts inside the opponents' 20-yard line, which is the most in league history.

Yup, true dat! But I'm not very bothered by that because I think Joe Staley will turn out to be a very good starter for us and will be worth what we gave up. Glad we still have Indy's pick, so I hope they lose out.
