Not really watching, more so studying.

But Grossman, Cooley, and Campbell go down in the first half. Announcers are entirely "the carnage, we've never seen so many injuries in a football game, oh the umanity!!!"

Apparently they never watched a Texans game? I mean really, that's not a lot of injuries.
 
LOL, nothing like a ref calling a TD in the back of the endzone, the second ref running in, calling no TD, and yelling at ref #1. They need to challenge, it was a TD.

Nothing like watching a game with .............. gametrax ................... I can hardly hold down my excitement.

Watching the game (partially), I'm thinking, hey, our O-line ain't so bad after all!

Say what you want about Chris Collinsworth and/or Bryant Gumbel, I might even join you, but IMO they call a good game. A refreshing change from the overall package of ESPN. No talking over each other. No Tony Kornheiser. No endless ha ha ha'ing. I don't think they even say the term Fantasy Football once. No Tony Kornheiser, and above all no Tony Kornheiser.
 
i love Gumbel and Collingsworth. the pure definition of professional. a lot of people expect hype and loud talking heads and other nonsense. they're great. right behind Michaels/Madden for me.
 
i agree overall but gumbel does make some stupid mistakes.. off the top of my head, i remember for one of suishams fg's that dropped short he said something along the lines of: 'its got plenty plenty of leg and its... good' and collinsworth kinda had to say 'just short' to which gumbel replied 'oh yeah.. my bad'.. kinda funny and kinda cringeful

this game was pretty dull tbh- cant believe i watched it all... lets hope next weeks game will be more entertaining! :texans:
 
For those of you that didn't get to see it, Campbell's injury was pretty disturbing.

I'm lying on the couch next to the wife and we're watching the game. Campbell goes down and he's holding the side of his left knee. I couldn't figure it out because it looked like there was a wad of clothes or something under his hands. I'm sitting there puzzled and my wife says "No, dumba__, he's dislocated his kneecap. That's his kneecap that he's holding."

Torn patellar tendon, we suppose, and his kneecap was sitting about 5 inches left of where it should have been.

Nasty.

And they popped it back in in the locker room. I could never be an NFL player, it's like that Snicker's commercial.
 
Gumbell called a good game last night IMO, unlike last week where his team
ID skills were seriously challenged: he kept saying the guys with stars on their helmets were Packers.
