Personally, I think that either the coaches poll or the Harris poll should be replaced by the AP poll.

The media is biased, but the coaches are more biased, & the Harris voters just sometimes seem lost. The media also gets to watch more games.

i don't mind the bias in the votes. they have a vote, they can do with it what they please. there's always going to be some bias.

I really only have a problem with the guys who have no clue what's going on outside their team. If you aren't gonna watch other teams, then you shouldn't get a vote.

Voting Mizzou above OU is ridiculous.

right, b/c everyone knows these coaches aren't too busy & actually sit down & make these rankings themselves. It's more likely that they have assistants or someone else do them for them.

You actually just made my point.

There shouldn't be a Coaches Poll because the Coaches dont pay attention.

They are too busy.

Sorry, I just had to fix part of that post....

That doesn't include the fact that all the Big 10 coaches voted OSU #1, that most of the SEC coaches voted LSU #1, that all the Big XII coaches voted OU #1, and that most of the ACC coaches voted Va. Tech #1.

The coaches poll is an even bigger farce then the BCS. Like the coaches have the time to even watch a quater of the teams they vote on; and I wouldn't be shocked if somebody in the athletic department actually fills out the ballot.
