Not sure if this has been mentioned but the irony of playing the Browns, who beat us a few years back and signalled the decline of what was our promising Texans team - is pretty cool.

Especially since, in my opinion, this is a make or break game if we are talking about playoffs. A victory for the Browns really gives them a great position for the wildcard and would probably knock us out of contention, a victory for us puts us seriously on the map and serves notice to Tennessee that we are coming to them on Dec 2nd as a playoff contender and not just a rival.

They were also the last team on our schedule last year and beating them put us on a 2 game winning streak (went to 4 if you count this season).

Every game from here on out is a must win if we are going to be a playoff team. And that's not hyperoble. One more loss and we're out of it.

I'm not sure if we have to win every game to get in the playoffs, but it sure would help. I think our playoff hopes are tied more to Jacksonville and Tennessee losing since those 2 are in the drivers seat for the Wildcard births. Those are definitely 2 teams we can't lose to and hope to get in the playoffs. If we lose 1 more game, say to Indy, I think we still have a good shot at getting in. Two losses and it would make it a whole lot tougher to get in, especially if we lost one to either Tenn. or Jax. But 1st things 1st, lets beat Cleveland! :gotexans1

Ofcourse every game counts, but IMO the REAL important ones are the ones against Jacksonville and Tennessee. And IF we could squeeze that win over the Colts in, we're in a very sweet spot. We can probably stand to lose 1-2 more non-jax/ten games, but really, we should go for the whole freaking Ws :)

I think this is one of our toughest games. The browns can air it out and put up points. This is going to be alot bigger test for the revamped secondary than this past week. It could get ugly unless we dictate the game.

As well as Jacksonville and Tennessee.

The only game we *might* be able to get away with losing is the Colts and that's still pushing it.

i said TEN already but i think we can lose to the jags and be ok... they have the #5 spot pretty secure..

imo we can lose 1 of TB, JAX or IND and still make it... and hope the chargers show enough life to take the west

I think that pretty much sums it up. We may be able to lose to TB and one of Jax or Indy with some help.

Every team in our division holds the tie breaker on us. One five hundred team will come out of the west via division championship. One team will be almost perfect out of the east. That donut in the division is killing us. Yeah they prety much have to win out and get some help for the Titans or Jags to slip a bit. The colts are banged up. And Vincent is going through some growing pains. Haynesworth has a hammie. How long those two thingies last is anyones guess. My gues is they are resting the monster for us two weeks from now. Jags are getting just enough out of the QB to be in every game. Not impossible...darn near. First step go on the road and UPSET
the brownies.

Anyone knows who the officials are ? Bet anything : 1. there will be calls that go againt us. 2. Someone will cheap shot one of our guys. Last week they did a very good job of over coming some obsticals. They need to be perfect this week. O-line, Defense with a present Mario and an Okoye sighting, special teams blocking and tackling and most importantly holding their lanes. Perfect. Have we grown up enough ? We'll see.
