Can I listen to the Texans-Raiders Sunday online?

As with other parts of the country, the Pats-Colts will be on the tube down here in South Texas (which I don't have a problem with, I know everyone wants to see Pats-Colts, me included).

But can I tune in online to listen to my Texans so I can have both? If not, I know I can trust my TexansTalk board to get the scoop! Thanks!

If you have a computer and the internet at home, you can listen to it streamed on SportsRadio 610..

Link: Sports Radio 610

There's a small rectangle towards the top left that says "Listen Now".. You have to register, but its no big deal and only takes a couple of minutes.

Bill I have only been able to listen to the game once through 610 this year they always have something else on during the game.

Valleytexfan go here http://www.kshn.com/ five minutes before the game starts and up in the left hand corner of the page click on "listen live" then I always bring up game center on another tab and watch the helmets move up and down the screen.

Dunno why... But they advertise the game - for our troops overseas...

GENERALLY speaking all pro and college games are blacked out online so that ESPN, MLB.com, etc. can make $$$$$$.

thanks, guys.

We don't have a radio station down here that broadcasts Texans games...they stopped last season.

I've tried SportsRadio610 during games this year when the commentating is awful, but I get sportingnews radio instead. I guess because of restrictions. I will definitely try it again Sunday though. If not, I'll try the other link. Thanks for all your help!:texflag:

u can not listen online through the 610 website...i have tried since week 1, NFL has banned all online broadcast except for NFL.com and ESPN (which charge) - the NFL is trying hard to reduce fans (45 sec limit of clips on tv, no free radio coverage online, moving SB/PB and regular season games overseas)

I've bought the gamecenter pass in previous years and also the first month of this season, but my link is FREE and it works.

If it works for you and you are happy, then great.

But, it's my understanding that stuff shouldn't be free over the Internet. Which means at any point, that site could get shut down.

Since I have a little ritual of things I do from 10 am to 1 pm (I live on the West Coast) on Sunday, it's very nice to listen to the game without any chance of it being pulled.

It's only $30 for the season and I can listen to any other game as well. In addition, all NFL games are archived and can be listened to again at any time.

I listen to games online through www.nfl.com.

They have an offer now for $3 a weekend.

Sounds like a good deal.

Wow, it doesn't sound like a great deal your way unless you only want to decide to listen NFL on a certain weekend.... it's $9.95 a month or $29.95 is a season pass http://www.real.com/nfl?brand=goog&pcode=BRAND&rsrc=link

I have paid for the season NFL pass for 6 years plus paid for the NFL Sunday ticket for 4 years (before we now have Dish Network)

You are correct for the Saints game, I'll let other's be the judge on the "crazy" part.:)

Texans vs. Saints Streaming

SportsRadio 610 will be streaming the Texans/Saints game so the men and women serving over-seas can get a "little taste of home".

You have a chance to say thanks to our Troops! SportsRadio 610 is collecting greetings from our listeners and then playing them throughout the game. Call {713} 881-5437 and record your personalized message.

Your greeting could be for a spouse, family member, loved one, or simply just saying thanks for serving. Reliant Stadium will be rocking when the Texans & Saints hook up, so join us in making the game an event here in Houston and with all the troops serving over-seas.
The stream broadcast is presented by "Your Houston Area Cadillac Dealers".

Generally speaking, the "away" team seems to be allowed to stream the games. I've so far had the "pleasure" of listening to KC, Indy, Miami, San Diego and Oakland online. Better than nothing.
