2008 Pro Bowl Ballot

Other than Schaub I can't think of any one Texan thusfar who is having a Pro Bowl callibur year. Maybe "Open" Daniels, Duante or Demeco. It feels way too early to know.
 
I voted for all of our boys, but the guys who deserve it?

Schaub (over Brady and Manning??No)
Okoye - Hell yes
DRob - Hell yes
Demeco Ryans - Hell Yes
Kris Brown - Hell yes
Eric Winston - Should, but noone knows him
Andre Johnson - Of course
Owen Daniels - yes
Mario - ha...just kidding

OK, so I voted twice.
 
I was wondering if Schaub continues on his pace if anyone thinks he will have a shot. Of course if the Jags continue what they're doing, Garrard may be in even though I think Schaub is having a better year.
 
Kris Brown is the reason we won a couple of games. He should be on top of the list.:fans: :fans:

Yet according to the football blog, Pro Football Talk, the current leading Pro Bowl vote-getter among AFC inside linebackers is the New England Patriots’ Tedy Bruschi, who has 30 fewer solo tackles than Ryans and has no interceptions, forced fumbles, recovered fumbles nor passes defensed this season.

Meanwhile, Ryans has one interception, four passes defensed, one forced fumble, three recovered fumbles and a touchdown through nine games.

“I think this season is going better than last year,” Ryans said. “I got a little sidelined with a little ankle injury. But it’s been going pretty good for most of the season.”

Pro Bowl is nothing more than a popularity contest. I just want to see Demeco get nominated for All-Pro.
 
Demeco should get the nod. Andre and Dunta will have missed too much time.

By the way, Wolf, I agree with Demeco on your signature.
 
itd be soooooooooo sweet if mario makes it... ive put up with alot of sheeeat (to quote dunta) on other sitesfrom reggie fanboys--- only now are they starting to back down from their ridiculous stances

Ugh, thank god the players and coaches have a say in this. There's no good reason why Demeco, Mario, AJ and possibly Kris Brown shouldn't make the Pro-Bowl.
 
This afternoon they will announce the winners on the NFL Network 3:00 Central.


The teams will be announced at 4 p.m. (ET) Tuesday, December 18 on a special NFL Total Access 2008 NFL Pro Bowl Selection Show on NFL Network. The Pro Bowl will be played at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii on Sunday, February 10 and will be televised by FOX.
 
Pro bowl appearances are usually based upon the previous season's performance. So it doesn't surprise me that Mario did not get in this year.

But I fully expect to see him starting in the Pro Bowl for the 2008 season! :redtowel:
