USF/RUT Anyone?

Yankee_In_TX

Dance Lindsay!
I am watching USF's O-Line meltdown. Don't know if it's because they have a big man on the sideline, but it is sack city out there. even with a 3 man rush.

Nice fake field goal for a TD by Rutgers.

Kind of convoluted thinking on my part, but I've been rooting for the upsets/underdogs all season. Once App. State kicked things off by beating Michigan, I've really had fun/been amazed at all the upsets. However, tonight I really want USF to win. Even though they aren't the underdogs in tonight's game, they are kind of the underdogs of the BCS.

Hope that makes sense.

4th and 22. USF just fell apart tonight.

CAUGHT way downfield, but I think he pushed off.

Yup. It comes back, so like 4th and 50? LOL

Wow, the and 37. Good job spiking on 2nd guys.

Game over.

Season of upsets continues.

I wish it would carry over into HS ball. My son's team are the serious underdogs tomorrow night. Nothing more painful than watching your kid's team get beat like a drum.

It has been a depressing season so far.

Sounds like my high school football team. We played 10 games a year.

Our record during my tenure on the team was 0-40.

*sigh*

Not one win. We got demolished everytime we went up. Once we almost beat Hyde Park but we lost.

It hasn't been quite that bad. We did start out the season with a major upset. Too bad it wasn't district.

We also play a team that won't win a game all season. Our coach was very gracious and had the third string in by the second half. We won by 30 or so points, other teams are drumming them by 70. No excuse for that IMO. I really admire the kids who go out and play each week, even though they know they are going to get beat.

It's only a matter of time until Ohio State loses. This has been one of the craziest college football seasons in quite some while.

yeah, BC should predictably lose next Thursday.

i bet by the end of the year all of the preseason top 10 teams will magically fall back into place when every team ahead of them lost. it'll be awesome.

Ray Rice anybody? He showed me that he had more speed than I initially thought. USF has a pretty fast defense and he did a good job of both getting around the corner and bursting up the middle.

I don't know if I'd spend a first on him but if we traded down I'd consider him in the 2nd or 3rd? what's his draft projection?

Too bad we don't have a 2nd

I like Rice.
Watch a few games last year as well as this year.
I'm afraid his stock will rise a bit too high, 'cause it seems like he can be a work horse.
He blocks pretty well, too!

i'm not sure how anyone can think Rice isn't a 1st rounder. he and Mike Hart.

I'm assuming the texans finish around 8-8 still and are picking 11-19ish. McFadden we know will go top 10 (most likely top 5). The next best RB in my opinion is Brandon Stewart...then you could argue Ray Rice.

This year could be the year of the RB with a lot going in the 1st round...would that be due to team needs or just the talent thats left on the board...or a combination of the two. or more teams trying to impliment two good rb's.

I'm just not so sure he would be the BPA if we were selecting at say pick 15. That's all I was trying to say. If he was BPA,..by all means I'd support it, but at this point would prefer if we were to trade down and get him- late 1st/early 2nd? He could very well be gone by the 2nd though

How has Oher looked ? I'm thinking if he comes out he could be very very rich young man. Like the bama freshman OLT there old Miss ?

The only thing that bothers me about RR is the number of hits he has taken. Ian Johnon would fill my plate also. Hit the hole and go. If they target someone in the third round for RB. I'm thinking a competent back up for ahmen not a front line starter. The only lock and loaded front line starter I see on the board is McFaddin. Everything else in the first round is a reach for the money. And I'm prety much convinced this coaching staff is going to stick by their veterans unless they are coughing up a lung or someone is screwing down the coffin lid on them. So I don't see Green going anywhere for the foreseeable future.
