Maybe I missed something. Maybe someone already started a thread - but whatever.

I thought Jacoby was ready to go. I didn't see him, nor did I hear anything about him not going yesterday. Someone please, if you heard something let me know...

Thanks!!

I thought he was ready to go too. But maybe he was only going to return punts this week and not play WR. I will try to get more info about it today and post in this thread.

He came in on the last drive when Sage was the QB. We never stopped the Jags in order to force a puntwhich would allow JJ in the game. Kubiak stated last week that the same WR corp would start this game and JJ would return punts.

Okay... well, by the time that drive was taking place (w/ Sage), the TV was a little fuzzy and the music was loud.

I feel your pain. If it weren't for the rain, I would've washed my truck in the 4th quarter and waited for the Pats game. :gun:

BTW, here's what Kubiak said Friday.

(on WR Jacoby Jones) “He’s ready. He’s ready to go. His specialty will be as a returner this week.”

(on if that means as a punt returner) “Could do both. And as far as wide receiver, he’ll back up those three guys. He will play, but he won’t be a starter in any capacity from that standpoint.”

Thanks for the quotes. Maybe, subconsciously, I wanted to hear more than that....

I should have washed my truck - rain or no rain. At least I wouldn't have burnt my steaks... Talk about insult to injury.
Doh! That coupled with a pathetic performance by the Texans. Man, I'm amazed you're coherent this morning. :)
