Jones Drew is something to worry about. Greg Jones is a good running FB, not a RB at this point.

If only that was the case...Jones is their FB and isn't really a feature back in the NFL...but MJD is a hell of a back and is very dangerous.

His height or lack thereof allows him to hide behind his O-Linemen & confuse the defense, and his low center of gravity combined with his strong frame make him a good bet to pickup those extra yards. He's pretty good catching the ball out of the backfield as well. Our defense will have to be very sure tacklers this Sunday or MJD could have a field day.
 
Best advice is to ignore their injury report and expect the worst. It always seems to me like player "x" goes out and whoever steps in for him has a career day or player "x" is reported to be hurting and then he plays that day and has a career day.

If they aren't listed as out and their backup isn't also listed as out then it makes no difference to me.
 
I'm more afraid of MJD receiving than running. I think we'll see a bunch of screens.

The biggest difference in the Jags and the Texans is that we aren't a deep team yet. When our starters go down we tend to bring in guys who are borderline NFL players and when Fred Taylor goes down they bring in a guy like Jones-Drew.

I think I'm more worried about Jones-Drew than Taylor unfortunately. He's squirrelly.

And the fact that Dom and Charley messed up so many drafts, and then messed up so many free agency acquisitions....Kubiak and Smith have about another 2-3 years of drafts to get us into a position where our depth is like most teams.

We could be the next dynasty (like the Patriots) if Kubiak and Smith continue building this team at the same rate theu have the past 1 1/2 years.

They've done in 1 1/2 years what Dom and Charley couldn't do in their whole tenure here.

With our cap space, and with the right draft and acquisitions...we should be a strong team in the next 2 years. I think we've just been subjected to so much abuse by Dom and Charley that we're not really able to see just how far we've come (and how far we can go).

Well I believe it was ok for me to call him shrimp since he's got me by an inch....ha ha

I said in a couple of posts on this thread that he scared me and I was correct in my fears. I'd say that the win goes to him. I hope he got the game ball cause we couldn't stop him even when we had our hands on him. I called him shrimp, but I also called him squirrelly. I meant that as a compliment and he sure was today.

Just beat the Colts and Titans for us is all I ask.
