NFL.com changes the Texans OL

A New Hope
While poking around the Internet for info on today's game, I ran across the NFL.com Game Center Preview, which includes the following bizarro-world paragraph:

Key matchup
Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor vs. Texans left tackle Eric Winston. Throughout their brief six-year franchise history, the Texans have had several issues preventing them from making the playoffs. Possibly the most glaring factor has been the team's inability to protect its quarterback. Now with a more mobile Matt Schaub at the helm, Houston has improved in that category. The Texans have allowed only six sacks in four games this year. In order for that to continue, Winston must keep Taylor, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, from taking down Schaub and disrupting his timing.

Ah yes...safely back under the national radar at last.

Well it looks like NFL.com hired a few guys away from espin to do there write-ups on the match ups for the week.

As long as they do not write that Carr is our starting QB. That would make me cry, and possibly drink way too much!

I think this is a statement game for O Line. I have a feeling Matt will have a fine day. :throwball:

Well they may have had a brain fart, but the guy clearly got the sore spot correct. May I post it now ? Ephrian Salaam is not a high end, front line OLT. He wasn't a high end OLT five years ago. And he is not now. When he goes against an elite pass rusher he is going to get whopped. Period. The statement being made today is the neither line is strong enough yet to over come poor QB play.

And no MS is like a toddler eating spagetti today. He's all over the place. We're just luck we're not going againt a good team today. We'd already be out of the game at half time.
