he's sucking big time this year. not sure what the issue with him is. hope he turns it around soon, but based on today's game, it looks like Kurt Warner will be the starter from now on.
 
Yeah, He hasn't looked good this year. tell me anyone from the USC recent dynasty that has looked good? Reggie, Leinart, Lendale, Jarret, Mike Williams.
The program is awesome, but i'm starting to think their players are overated for the NFL.
 
It's hard when there's so many of them.

When Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush, and LenDale White all had each other, it was frankly pretty hard to tell who was really great and who was looking better thanks to the other(s). Now none of the three is emerging as the "great" one.
 
they're switching in both QB's in the Arizona game right now. Leinart came in and completed a 38-yard pass to Fitzgerald, then Warner comes in. i'm not sure if this will work out, or if it's good or bad for Leinart. who knows...it'll make things interesting at least.
 
well, looks like it might work, as Matt Leinart just engineered a beautiful drive down the field and the Cardinals scored a TD on the steelers. it's not 21-7 with 4 minutes to go.
 
Leinart is struggling a bit, but at times he looks sharp. think about it, it's his third OC, and 2nd complete coaching staff in like 12 games. That can't be easy. Plus they have played some pretty confusing defenses so far.

He is going through a rough patch but I think he'll be fine eventually.

Carson Palmer tops out the recent offensive list at least from a skill position.

I think a big part is they're used to beating up the overrated PAC-10 for most of the year and getting decent non conference game here and there. I cringe when i hear about someone like John David Booty and his NFL prospects.

I think Leinart will be fine as Ken Wisenhunt starts to settle into the team more. It's a new offense and while the line is getting better it's all just going to take time to mesh IMO. I think the combo of Russ Grim and Ken Wisenhunt will help that franchsie turn the corner. There's just too much talent there not to.

I agree. I remember watching NFLN and they made a comment about the Cards having to impose a time for him to show up during camp. They said he was so tied up being a celeb he wasn't showing up as early as the rest of the group.

Sounds eerily familiar.:gun:
