So do I! BUT, something we will never see in Houston. I would LOVE to be there today!!

I hate the cold weather and i'll take houston's hot and humid weather over that anyday, but I do think they make for good football games. If both teams are used to playing in that kind of weather.

I'm cheering for the Patriots and I like what I'm seein so far. The Colts had had a number of 3 and outs and Manning hasn't been able to do anything. Unfortunately their is plenty of time left in the game and anything could happen. I just hope New England can keep it up.

Go Pats!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :jumpbanan

It's been a number of times today where Jake Scott (The colts backup RT) has gotten beat and been called for penalties......... oooooooo nice play by the Bruschi that was nice, but i think they might challenge it.

That was a beautiful catch by Faulk right there. Pats are really sticking it to Indy now, on both sides of the football.

No mystery to beating the Colts, just play them in a snowstorm.

LoL, pretty much.

I've always wondered this, I've never been to a Texans game at the stadiium and i wanted to know if when the roof is open in Augusts, can you feel the heat and humidity inside the stadium. And do you think it plays a part on the opposing team even though the Texans practice in a bubble.

This game is even uglier for the Colts than the AFC Championship game was last year. If Peyton can't beat a NE team with lots of injuries what hope does he have against one at full strength in the future.

none.

The Colts and Cheifs have proven exactly why you can't win a championship with a juggernaut offense and no D. Peyton will never win a superbowl ring as long as Indy only has an explosive offense and Dwight Freeney as the only playmaker on their team.

All in all next weeks game with the Pats @ Pittsburgh should be a good one. And will someone please tell me why Indy wasted their time challenging that fumble?

I don't see how you can hang this loss on the Colts D. You're not going to win championships when your offense "explodes" for 3 points. The Colts never ran a play that fooled the Pats D even a little. Pretty amazing.

Yeah the Pats have a good D and shutdown the #1 offense in the leaugue. Hence a good D beats a good Offense and D wins championships.

ways to beat INDY.

time of posession:
Colts 22:17
Pats 37:43
*** And alot of that 22 min was padding time at the end.

Pats yards on the ground. 210
Pats Rushes 39
Pats Avg. Per Rush 5.4

Keep the offense off the field with a great ground game. And a good defense of course. Seems to be the way to beat them.

I'm not sure how much time of possession had to do with the Pats victory. Did you ever get the feeling that if Indy only had more time they would decipher the New England defense? I don't think the Colts get into the end zone if they play through tomorrow afternoon.

That kind of defensive effort, with a rag tag set of corners, was stunning. The Pats just have the Colts number. Every team in the AFC South will spend days poring over this game film.

I did notice the Patriots dink and dunk offense was called patient in this game.

Some on this board call it "playing not to lose" ... whatever it is, it works.. if you can play, playoff defense.

The Pats had three drives that consumed 24:47 resulting in 17 of their 20 points - while the Colts offense stood cold on the sideline. That plus their aggressive defense was a lethal combination

Excellent observation AJ

Hey.. can we sticky some of these posts for those looking for that high powered, throw deep offense in the Texans? :heh:

Too bad for Payton. Guess his fat wallet just got too much to carry the team.

The Texans do look for those big plays downfield. The only short stuff I see are those hitches to Andre or the underneath stuff to DD. It would be nice if Palmer included quick outs, slants, hitches and drags in his offense. everyone Knocks the dink and dunk, but it is used by 3 of the 4 remaining teams in the playoffs. Eagles and Falcons (west coast)
