Hey all
Im from Coltfreaks.com for starters so feel free to sign up there and talk football with us Colts fans there, this week sure is going to be a great game. You guys do have a habbit of playing us tough especially on the Road, I was very impressed with your win on the road in Carolina today. Your win over the Chiefs who IMO are the worst team in the NFL was to be expected.

Schaub is looking like a mature quarterback, his patience in the pocket is impressive. We sure will need to get pressure on him to upset your offenses timing. I hope Keiaho and Morris are fit and can play unlike today against the Titans, I look forward to talking about the game as the week moves on.

Oh boy...here comes the Colts!

Can't wait, can't believe we will actually be playing for the lead in the AFC South...:doot:

Glad to have you here, and at least your not a Titan fan.

It was indeed the Texans.
Since that game both teams have been undefeated, obviously we have won more, let me remind you we won 4 straight playoff games on the way to Superbowl Glory.

Thanks for making me welcome and I plan on sticking around here after the game, afterall you guys are in the same division.

There are few things on this planet that are worse than a Titans fan.

Welcome to the party! This will be a tough game for the Super Bowl Colts. Manning has not lost a game since he was shut down by the Texans last season. This streak will be tested.

This season has played out just like I had wanted it to. The Colts are 2-0, we are 2-0. If my vision for this season continues to hold true, we will turn out to have been the first and last team to beat the Super Bowl Colts.

The AFC South, strong as it is, does not have a definitive #1 team anymore.

Kinda scary man.

Because I thought the Colts would run over the Titans and the Jags would not show up(hard to do that against the Falcons. Teams can not show up and still win.)

All of a sudden...the Titans are looking good, the Jags are looking alright, and the Colts...are still the Colts.

This is a tough division...but this ain't your Casserly's Texans either :texflag:

I guess that will be alot clearer after next Sundays game against you guys, today we won a tight game on the road in which we played really poor to be honest. I was rather frustrated with the play calling today.

I agree. From what I saw, it was not the best outing that Peyton has ever had. considering you guys lost to them on the road last year, I am sure it was a plus to secure the W. It would be hard for Mr. Jesus Young to beat you in Indy, despite his god-like powers.

I am curious, though. What is the best Indy message board? I will definitely need to invest some time into that board over the course of this season.

Vince Gump is average, I dont care what anyone says I dont think I will ever rate him as a player, maybe as a running qb but never a qb who can stand in the pocket and hit wide receivers down field with accuracy.

Stay away from www.colts.coms and www.indystar.com

The best is....www.coltfreaks.com

Thats where I am from and while there are a few guys there that have warped senses of humour its a good place, I for one will make you feel welcome.

Greatly appreciated! As a matter of fact, I visited those two that you told me to stay away from. They looked pretty bad. What is your name on the freaks MB? Same?

Also, just to stay on topic, I am curious about injuries. As of right now, Andre Johnson is questionable with a bruised knee, no MRI yet. He looked fine after the game though, with just a slight limp. He will be in the game if his leg will let him. Ahman Green looked a bit shaken up, but he will be fine.

I am also daedge at Coltfreaks.com. The only thing is Coltfreaks was hacked in the offseason 3 times and the final time it was down for over a month and the entire forum had to be deleted and started over, so everyone had to sign up again and we still havent got as many users as had before the hack. But its slowly getting back to where it was which is encouraging.

We are in better shape then you guys, Morris and Freddy Keiaho should both be able to go against you guys next week. Keiaho would have infact played had it been a playoff game for instance, its not serious nor is Morris's so heres hoping everyone is good to go. Bob Sanders is obviously in fine form and has put his injuries behind him as he finished with 2.5 sacks and 11 tackles.

Well welcome this: The only thing I'm looking forward to is seeing Manning on a strecher. I hate the Colts. They are the franchise of the trators. Anyone who supports them is a trator. The Irsay's are the lowest form of human being God ever created. Even lower than the Adam's Family. I hope Mario punks Uhgo and drops straight down on Abdia's knee so that he never sees the feild again. We can't stomp you in the dirt deep enough to satisfy me. You are the last dragon on our way to the SB. I don't want to befreind you I want to cut your head off and shove the carcass into a bottomlees pit. If you leave here with twenty guy's IRed and no chance at all of winning another game this year, it will be a good day. Indianpolis is floatsome in a tolet bowl and somebody should of flushed long ago.

Your complete and utter 51 year old scum of the earth !! :gun:

How is your OL holding up? I saw that Manning was hit a couple times and sacked at least once. Think they're still trying to gel, especially after your LT retired, or do you foresee this as a normal for this season. (Pressure on Manning).

I'm very interested to see how our young DL goes up against what I believe to be one of the most cohesive OL in the league.

Its holding up quite well, we are missing Glenn slightly but overall theres no real visible lack in quality. Against the Titans there were to many false starts penaltys, on the road there will be a few yeah but It was just a sloppy game for the most part and im glad its over with, and with a W in the column.

P.S Manning did get hit a few times and he was also sacked twice in the game.

Coltfreaks is the place to go. I am a member over there but haven't posted in awhile.
Good to see you come on over daedge, welcome to our house. Will be nice to talk some ball on a more even ground than the past. :shades:

What the heck was that all about..?? If theres one thing I can't stand, its fans cheering and hoping for anyone to get hurt. Usually only Eagles fans stoop that low.

Anyway, I personally wish the colts weren't in the AFC South, because I actually enjoy watching their team. Unfortunatley, now that we are starting to make some noise, the only thing I can possibly hope for is to see Manning yelling angrily at his OL after a blow out in Houston! Here are the important points of the game as I see them:

Our DL vs. your OL - Our DL has come alive. Your OL is one of the best in the league. Whoever dominates at the LOS is sure to make all the difference. We aren't a big blitzing team, but give Manning any time, and he'll cut you to pieces. If we can get pressure on him with only 4 down lineman, the game could be a good one indeed.

Our run defense vs. Addai - Joe is great. He and Maroney are really showing Reggie Bust to be the loser he is. I can't believe he went 20+ picks later than Bush. Of course, he's got Manning to take the pressure off him. If we can shut down Addai, or at least limit his effectiveness, than we may have a pretty good chance at making the Colts one dimensional. I dont think this is too far fetched, especially given our history this year so far (40 yards to LJ, 66 to the Panthers)

Our safeties vs your WRs - Obviously the nudge goes to Harrison + Wayne + Clark, BUT if we can at least limit the long balls, we could stay in it long enough to win this one.

Your DL vs our OL - Who knew the Texans offensive line could play so well? Everyone in Houston, thats who. Despite our great play so far, we are far from one of the top lines in the league. Schaubs quick decisions should help negate Freeney, as he is more of an outside rusher. Only time will tell though

Our RBs vs Bob Sanders - Last time we beat you, we ran the ball right down yoru throats. However, Sanders wasn't on the team. Since you've had him back, you guys have been down right dirty on run defense. Can we still run the ball at you? Maybe, but we'll have to wait until Sunday to find out

I may have to revoke your poetic license or ask you to step down as Chairman of the Board for Visual Metaphors R Us.

I understand Chad is gone, but you have to fight through this as it is effecting your work. The Turk is your friend.
i miss the simplicity of chadokens. i'm considering switching my allegiance from punter to long snapper in light of pittman's recent notoriety.

I received total consciousness in regards to the power of the Pitt during our 2-14 campaign. Even when things were falling apart, Pittman executed flawlessy. I will never forget the time he was able to accrue 27 revolutions of the pigskin, on one long snap. Easily the penultimate moment in Texans' Long Snapper history.

Is it that bad between Texans and Titans fans ???

Well have you been to their message board? We have homers like all teams do, but i think a new word needs to be coined for what they are over there b/c talking REAL football with most of them is nonexistent. I don't even like to go over there & read threads b/c it's so sickening.

Mix in the fact that they are our old team & a division foe....

Don't let threetoedpete speak for the majority here. Most of our fans are classy. There is always one rotten apple in the bunch.

Welcome and let's talk some football! BTW :fans:

If you want to act like an Ass go somewhere else and do it. This is not the forum or the place for trash talking or actling like you are a 3 yr old with a wet diaper on. As usual you show no class what so ever.

Please ignore this person it is not like he has much to say of value as you can tell.

Now thats the most homer filled place on earth.

Daedge, I would like to say thanks for inviting us to talk some football at your site! You are most welcome anytime!

Here's to a great game!

Wanted to pass along the email I sent to my brother-in-law this morning. This should get under his skin...

The Houston Texans cordially invite the Indianapolis Colts to Reliant Stadium on Sunday Sept. 23, 2007 @ 12:00pm.

There will fun for the whole family. The Texans will provide the saddles and bridles so fans can joy riding the Colts.

That's right! The last team to beat the World Champion Indianapolis Colts, will give an encore performance this Sunday.

See ya There

Who forgot to give Pete his meds? I didn't realize your gibberish could turn so violent.

Jeff Fisher has put together a good gameplan against Colts the past 3 times they have faced. What do you think has been the key to the Titans putting the brakes on Peyton & Co.?

BTW, the NFL Network will be replaying the Colts/Titans game at 6pm.

Welcome to the board pony lover, This is war and you are the enemy so you have to be ready for the strikes when they come.

There are few things on this planet that are worse than a Titans fan.

that few thing is a cowboy fan

Be careful. I heard zgonia has long snapping ability, and if he can play both Dt and LS...watch out Brian.

But can Bagonia long snap his groceries into the shoping cart or to the driver of a moving car.

Anywho back to the Horsey, I am here to tell you that Peyton better brush up on his sign cause he will not be able to hear himself breath. And tell your Recievers not to try a TO er chad Johnson cause they aint welcome in the Bull Pen or the darkside. Good luck to you Mr. Ed, oh I am sorry Daedge, I thought you would change your name since daedge is in Arizona.
If you have friends showing up to tour the glue factory make sure they check out the dog food house also. We will be tailgating in Platinum lot B-1 and all of you Tame Horses are welcome. This is the best game showing this weekend.

Seriously, seek alcohol treatment. This post reeks of alcohol. You were a guy that I respected somewhat. That is no more. You made an ass of yourself and represented Texan nation very poorly. An embarrassment to us all.

Colts fans,
I want to apologize for threetoedpete. I don't know where his post came from but it's definitely unacceptable. We welcome all fans who want to talk football.

As for our upcoming match up. I've virtually lost all hope now that Andre Johnson has been been labled as doubtful for the game this Sunday. His contribution to this team is so much more than just his receiving skills. He's our captain. He's our leader. His presence alone is tremendous. Yes, I know he only garnered four catches in our victory last season but him being there mattered. The key for the Texans this time around will continue to be Ron Dayne. If we can just control the time of possession, we just may have a chance. I just don't have enough faith in our secondary.

I do have a question for you Colts fans. What happened last Sunday? Are the Titans better than they appear to be on paper or was this just a terrible game overall for the Colts?

The Titans have played us tough in the last 3 meetings, They have managed to slow down our offense rather well, but on Sunday we really did play poorly. Too many penalties and stupid mistakes we turned the ball over twice, there were a few protection issues and we just didnt execute well enough. Some of the play calling IMO was rather poor and almost aragant at times also.

Some of the play calling IMO was rather poor and almost aragant at times also.
I pretty much agree. The Colts had a 1st down in Titan territory at the 2 minute warning, and called pass on 3 consecutive plays. Vanden Bosch finally drops Manning on 3rd down, taking the Colts out of FG range. Gave the Titans way too much time, and they were a dropped pass from a game winning FG attempt (just like last season).

It's hard to learn much about how the Colts will defend the Texans from watching the Tennessee game, because the Titans offense is so different. But, we know that they'll play cover 2. And with Andre out, the may move their safeties up. Maybe. I'd look for that deep crossing route to Daniels or Putzier, if the Colts try to sneak up too much.

The Titans did a good job of bend but don't break defense in the 2nd half. The d-line just teed off on Manning, who had to throw shorter routes. The Titans defensive front was too physical for the Indy o-line, and the Texans will have to be even more so. Mario versus the rookie Ugoh should be a big advantage in the Texans favor.

I guess that will be alot clearer after next Sundays game against you guys, today we won a tight game on the road in which we played really poor to be honest. I was rather frustrated with the play calling today.

Colts to the Titans what the Texans are to the Jags.

Teams that play against each other, throw stats out of the window.

over the next few years, great AFC South rivalries will develop (as long as everyone stays healthy)

:texflag:

Ugoh is someone that I've been watching very closely albeit I missed his performance in the Titans game. I want a honest answer from the Colts fans. Does Tony Ugoh make losing Tarik Glenn matter? I thought he looked outstanding against the Saints but then again the Saints don't really have a superior defensive line. I'm very curious because Manning has now been sacked three times (i think) and intercepted once yet his passing numbers remain the norm for Peyton Manning. So why are points not being put on the board? They have a new weapon in Gonzalez making the Colts' WR corps a fearsome four altogether.

First of all I dont know how you can question why points arent being put on the board, we did score 41 in week one followed by 22 yesterday, thats 63 ponts in two games. 4th most in the NFL and 3rd most in the AFC and I expect us to finish the season with close to the most points scored.

Ugoh has played rather well for a rookie in his first two NFL starts, no matter what he is no Tarik Glenn as yet and thats to be expected. But there is still no real weakness in our OL, and I really dont see Mario dominating him at all. When offensive lineman have gone down to injury in the past we have a great habbit of slotting backups and rookies in, and you would barely know it most of the time.

Our offense had a off day mainly due to stupid mistakes on Sunday, it would be suicide to underestimate our offense :shades:

Have you seen Mario as of late though?

It wouldn't be fair to say he's not going to make a impact. Thing is Mario, Okoye, and Travis has proven so far to be too much for Olines to handle at the moment. Its not all about Mario any more, I think we can pressure Manning.

I don't see Ugoh doing holding up so well. I am not trying to make Mario as this beast that is unstoppable, but we have 3 solid guys on that line, then we rotate with guys that come in and just make plays and play with a lot of heart.

Also I think we have a better Dline the Saints and the Titans, so it shall be fun.

Maybe I am being a bit optismistic, but I think we can win this game at home.

I don't know man. Ever since the 3rd preaseason game this Dline has looked great. I think Travis will be EAGER to get out there and make some plays since he was absent last week, If those DTs play well DeMeco gets to make plays and you guys don't want that.

My problem is the WR core for the Colts is amazing, and we are going to need great Safety play, and Faggins...well we are going to need great safety play. Hopefully Boulware and Demps will be ready. Hopefully our offense can expose the run defense for the Colts...but with Sanders back there who knows.

I have my eye on the Dline though. If they can bring it again, it should bring more turnovers, more stuffage for the Colts run game, and a frustrated Manning.

It would be safe to say that NO ONE in this league underestimates the Colts offense :)

And for what it's worth, I cheer for you guys whenever you're not playing us :)

Dude, I picked the Colts to win in our guess the score thread. 56-28. I'm NOT underestimating them. Far from it.
