Team Captains

Would've liked to see Schaub get the captain nod also. Seems only natural for your QB to be one of your captains, but I guess that'll come next year.

Maybe, but over AJ? Espcially when Schaub has not even been here for a full year yet. Schaub might get the nod next season.
 
Weren't these 3 the captains last year as well? I remember the 3 of them going out for the coin toss last season...
 
They're going to have 6 captains each week. 2 each from Offense, Defense, and Special Teams. 3 Captains are Season captains and are constant and were selected by the team. 3 others are Game captains and will be selected by the coaches.

At least, that's what I seem to remember Kubiak saying in an article somewhere.

Obviously the TEAM doesn't feel the same way as you do. They choose the season captains and the coaches choose the game captains. Why would they pick someone who has yet to play a regular season game? Kris Brown is an original TEXAN and deserves the honor!
 
kris gets into the games too. you always see him running down the sidelines getting the crowd pumped.
 
um hahahahhahaha....no Brown is a clutch kicker... Turk is a punter, the sad truth is no one cares about punters besides the team its self.
 
Brown is ugly, does not tip and wears a fedora in the off season, consequently, it is a disgrace he represents the Special Teams for the Texans on the field. Bryan Pittman is a rock and I am at the ready to throw my weight around a coup d'ePitt. Missing field goals is soooo.....the last field goal attempt by Kris Brown.

2007 will be the Year of the Long Snapper. There is nothing more exciting than an aerial 7 yard rotating pigskin, in an almost convection like state, against the back drop of a field of green. Feels like home until Kris Brown's foot gets in the way of another great play executed by Bryan Pittman.

I would not be surprised if we brought in some competition in the middle of the season against Brown should we put up some wins early.
