Cuts are starting to come in at a fairly decent clip, and there are a few interesting names (ok, ok somewhat interesting):

Former Pro Bowl FS Hanik Milligan was cut by the Cardinals. He's coming off a knee injury (not sure what, but it did reguire off season surgery). Arizona picked him up last Sept. on waivers, which means we could have already passed on him.

Reggie Lewis, UDFA out of Florida

Miquel Merrick, UDFA out of Iowa State

Travarous Bain, UDFA out of Hampton, somebody I was interested in during the draft. I wouldn't be shocked if he winds up on the practice squad.

There are some other names ot there, Zach Latimer being one of them.

Bain would be another good option to bring in...

6'2 4.46....transferred from Miami to Hampton...

Plus he was cut by a team with some pretty good DB's in Arizona...

He was considered a top COVER CB, a good ST player............and a SPRINTER......................definitely someone worth looking at, possibly for FS as he was converted to CB from being a DB with Miami.

Hanik Milligan??

Excuse my ignorance but when did he make the Pro Bowl because I have never heard of the guy.
He made the Pro Bowl as a special teams player. He's a specialist on coverage teams, not an every down player.

Dude, what's with the logic? Bringing my expieriment down and all...bummer. I was trying to create some artifical hype for an average FS, kinda like the hype Weasley has been getting.

Yes Milligan made the Pro Bowl as a ST cover guy (which I don't think can ever to many of), and I think he made it as an injurt replacement to boot.

Just going to Hijack the thread for a moment to report that Tony Hollings has been cut by the NY Jets as per www.kffl.com/hotw.nfl

What a waste of a draft pick........ Casserely :bat:

As has Drew Henson...
Drew Henson was a great pick by Charley. It was just stupid that the Cowboys gave us a 3rd round pick for someone we spent a 7th round pick on.
(I think it was a 7th)

I though we got something back for Henson but didn't realise it was a 3rd after using a 7th..... so maybe I will let that one slide.

FWIW I'm pretty sure Henson was picked in the 6th. I know that's splitting hairs, but I'm pretty sure that's correct.

Yep. We drafted Henson in the 6th in 2002. Then we got Dallas' 3rd in 2005 for him. Did we use that pick on Morency? Or was it bundled in the trade up for Babin or the trade for P-Buck?

We will get it right eventually.:) 2004 was the year we drafted Henson.
I think we used the 3 on the trade that brought us P-Burnt.:gun:

Mod Squad
FS C.J. Gaddis was released by the Eagles. He might be worthy of a roster spot. Also the Saints released Antonio Pittman. He might be a good PS guy too.

The Raiders released Quentin Moses and Donovan Darius. Moses might be worth a PS spot, but I'm not sure if he may be injured.

I say we pick up Turnbull on name alone.

We could have a safety tandem of Bullware(yes I changed the spelling) and Turnbull.
