Packers wish Green were still in GB!

Practice Squad
The Packers let A.G. sign with Houston and their running back of the future, Vernand Morency, is now hurt so they have to start a rookie, Brandon Jackson.

The kid is good but he only made 1 yard per carry against the Jaguars on Thursday night. And A.G. pops a 46 yarder in preseason? You know the Packers GM is feeling like a numbwit right now.

I hope A.G. helps you Texans beat down your opposition. He is fast and MEAN when he has to sting a LB or DB. I wish he were still in green and gold in GB!

[Full disclosure: I am a Packers fan, visiting this forum for Ahman Green info.]

P.S. nice emoticons!

All the thanks goes to Tom Osbourne for coaching Nebraska's option offense, and Scott Frost for taking the hits that Ahman Green should have been taking as a college back, for Ahman's ability to produce at this age.

Welcome to the Texans' Board.

We were a little worried about how much AG still had in the tank. He didn't show much in the first two preseason games even though everyone has been really excited by how he has looked in camp. Sherman has said he looks as good if not better than he has in the past.

Last night, it looked like he was finding almost nonexistent creases and he was really running with passion. It was great.

Green showed up with a lot of fire and I look forward to seeing good things from him. We have a run game. FINALLY..it wasn't like hitting a break wall for 4 plays and punting:texflag:

Thanks for the feedback, boys.

Personally, I wish A.G. had stayed in GB, but now that he is in Houston, I hope he tears it up down there. The reason I am paying attention is really because of the GM situation in GB. Ted Thompson bollixed up re-signing Green and trading for Randy Moss, so every time A.G. or Moss takes one for 40 yards or more, it is going to be another instance of "I told you so" for those of us sick of Thompson. :shades:

was it roy williams that got blocked back to pop warner?

Yep. That was probably my favorite part of that particular play.
