Well ESPN said it so it must be true, not to mention that it is already said that Adrian Peterson will be in too without 1 snap in the NFL. Mario is out and a bust as well. I know this is what you might expect to read from ESPN, but I thought it would be good for a laugh.

yeah, Peterson is in without playing a down and AJ is not considered, in spite of his 2 Pro Bowls in 4 seasons.

That article is horrible. I can't believe some of the people they left off the list.

Its also almost ALL skills positions

Putting any rookie on there who hasn't evenplayed a down in the NFL is a JOKE

Putting Reggie Bush on there, with is 3.5 ypc, is a JOKE

I mean, I think Bush will be an amazing tweener back that catches a lot of balls, but his running ability is circumspect to put it lightly. And then to leave Simeon Rice off the list for the exact same problem is laughable

PS: WHere is Demeco? Why is AJ Hawk in there? I didnt see him secure any DROY awards last year

For anyone who has never taken a snap or has played 1 or 2 years to be mentioned as possible HOF'ers is an insult to those who have paid thier dues and that are in there now. I guess the standards in that writer's opinion are not of the way they really are. It takes YEARS of greatness to make it in the hall, not a year or two of pretty goodness with potential of several more years of that.

Terrell Davis was a great back for 3-4 years and a good one for a year or two, but is he HOF worthy, I really do not think so. You need to achieve greatness for more than 3-4 years in my opinion to be considered one of the best.

So don't get all in a lather cuz DeMeco was omitted, he has only played 1 season, and I would bet that even if he was asked if he thought we was HOF worthy he would laugh..Sports writers write what they want, they have that freedom, we as readers can laugh and call them idiots, that is ours...

Wait and see, in 10 years, how bad that guy missed the mark will be obvious.
