Its a good combination I mean with the Pack and the Bronco's people coming over but man its kind of wierd though ain't it?! I mean thats how the Texans are looking to me so far, mine as well call 'em the Packo's or Ponco's. Now I'm all for the better of our team but I hope these guys that their picking up from their former teams actually get the job done. Go Texans:texflag:

Nothing weird about it. Too coincidental to be a coincidence. Coach's pick the devil they know over the devil they don't know. I wouldn't mind the combination.
If we threw a few more screens like Farve does in GB, it could be a nice mix of systems. We haven't seen a stretch play in awhile is all I know. I'm kinda lead drawed out on third and forever. Maybe they could run Zambram out and run the wrap around draw for a change.

I prefer "Bronckers" myself but it's really just a question of individual taste. I'm looking forward to the day when the Green Bay/Denver pipeline starts to close.

It's not a case of copying somebody. It's the usual coaches bringing in players they're familiar with. It happens all over so it shouldn't surprise anyone that Sherman and Kubiak are doing it here. What sucks is that they often end up cutting loose good players to bring guys they know in just because they know them. The sooner that Sherman and Kubiak stop this the better IMO.

So far though I like the players they've drafted here. Not so big on their former players they've brought in (with a few notable exceptions) but I like the drafts.

If we were going to copy somebody, I dunno why we don't copy teams that have actualy been good THIS DECADE!

Denver has a pretty darn good winning percentage the past decade..in the 2000s. Not off the charts but 11-5, 8-8, 9-7, 10-6, 10-6, 13-3, 9-7. Green Bays decline didn't start until 2005. Before that in the 2000s they were 9-7, 12-4, 12-4, 10-6 and 10-6.

I'm all for making the team better but sometimes it's like they consider Broncos and Packers over everybody else. Flanagan should not have sign Van Pelt no Jeb has not worked out it could be because he was ask to add some weight last year but told to go back to his weight he is comfortable with and than there was that whole Plummer thing. Lets start looking outside those two teams for pieces we need.

I look at the vet pick ups from the Packer and the Broncos as "stop gap" measures until Kubiak can get his hand picked draftees up to snuf. Kubiak is building a winner. And to be quite honest, I like what he's doing. We have several winning coaches on our staff. Once we get a few more drafts under our belts, this team will be a periennial winner. :fans: :texflag: :whip:

It's not that they are bringing in everybody they can get their hands on from their old teams.

They are going after guys who have excelled in the system they are trying to put in. Green's best years where in this offence and I don't think Kubiak was too far off in bringing in Dayne in after the Colts game last year.

On the Putzier front he did produce in Denver and who on earth saw Daniels putting up the numbers he did.
