Would you put Ahman Green at the #2 WR spot? He's fast, he catches the ball well, and we need a #2 WR (sort of, I think Daniels fills that spot out). Plus he's getting past the 30 mark so this would save the old man from getting hit too much...
 
no i wouldn't put green as a wr.

If we drafted peterson i'd let him and green split carries.

I'd rather trade down with a team like buffalo or greenbay and get as much as we can...try and get back those 2nd round picks this year and next. then at that spot i'd take the best player out of jamaal anderson, amobi okoye, leon hall, darrelle revis, chris houston, levi brown, and i'd have 2 more picks.

this has to be one of those threads you type out and before hitting submit you go "wow, what was i thinking" and then hold backspace. tell me you didn't mean this.
 
If AP falls to #10, I think the rest of our RB are out of this conversation completely except when AP needs a break.
 
If AP falls to the Texans, they should take him. If somebody offers a good trade, then trade him. But if they don't, it's not like he's a bad draft pick. Some people have even said he's a pretty good running back.

Green, Dayne, and Peterson running out of the backfield would be stout, especially in a run-first offense like the Texans have.

Taking BPA would not be a problem to me. The Texans take their hits at LT and/or WR. They'll have more opportunities next year during free agency.

If AP falls to #10, I would be on the phone with Buffalo and GB, and so who wants to make a deal.

If you don't get the deal your looking for, then take AP.

No Green at WR....and let's say AP is available at #10.....would Kubiak/Smith take him? Wasn't all the talk last year about not getting RB was we didnt need a RB at that time and our new tandem following their Denver roots would never take a running back in the 1st rd because of being able to get any back to produce in the system?
