Player not being mentioned after Shaub trade

Personally I could see the Texans being comfortable with the 10th pick because they have their eye on Marshawn Lynch. He is a complete back that would be a great understudy to Ahman Green.

All I can say is that I look forward to the NFL draft so much and I love the lead up.

Personally I think we should trade down to the later teens and pick up an extra 2nd or something along those lines.
 
i dont think lynch is on their radar. not with green, dayne, and taylor. the only RB i think they take if he's there is peterson.

Although I wouldn't be too upset with the Lynch pick... I think he would just be a hindrance to our more pressing needs (namely our o-line and secondary). It wouldn't be smart to blow a pick on a back this year when his talent could be matched or bettered in the mid to late 1st next year.

I say wait until next year and hope we're in a position to draft McFadden out of Arkansas.

I'd rather take a DB or O-lineman.

Landry or Brown is where my head is right now. I'd even settle for L. Hall.
 
Lynch was/is one of my fav's but with a new addition of Schaub,Green,now resigning V Leach don't think lynch is on our top board. Trade down with GB for a 2nd or 3rd rounder and go CB/FS. Or stay put at ten and take Levi Brown and shore up the O-Line.

Or trade back 2 spots with Buffalo and either:
o still pick Levi, or
o pick Leon Hall or Reggie Nelson or Amobi Okoye

or trade back 6 spots with Green Bay and either:
o still pick Levi, or
o pick Leon Hall or Reggie Nelson

The Texans are sitting pretty. Optimism, good people, is not unwarranted in this situation. Be of good cheer. Green Bay is going to want to move up in front of Buffalo. Mark it.

I'm with you. Trade back with Green Bay and pick up another pick or two. That whole area of the first round could see a lot of jockeying for position... why not reap the rewards?

Plus, we could use the extra picks, and it's be a win-win if we still steal Levi Brown. Woo! :yahoo:

We better hope were not in a position for McFadden or we just wasted alot of money on FA and probably had another bad draft.

McFadden as a Texan would be awesome though.

I really think that we need the second round pick to pick up a quality DB or WR. I hope we can make a trade for a few more picks.
