Game Day: Houston at Chicago

Game Center

This is going to be an ugly, cold game most likely. Both teams are going to run the ball in this weather. I think Armstrong is deactivated again so we won't have any wide open sets at WR it looks like.

Got a feeling watching this game is gonna be like watching paint peel. Lotta ground grind-it-out kinda stuff. Never the less it's my Texans so I'll enjoy either way. :bouncey:

On the NFL Today, they had the temps at 7 degrees, with -minus 15 wind chill. So you know, the cameras are going to zoom in on everyone without a shirt on. If one of them has a Texans logo, that'll be an instant 5 seconds of fame for sure.

:bouncey:

That's exactly what we needed. Get the defense off the field and let them warm up. Now DD needs to hold on to the ball, you know the ball is hard!!!

The Bears were really marching down on the Texans, the defense was starting.....cold.

That was huge. Chicago ate up almost half the 1st quarter leaving our O on the cold bench. Hope they aren't too cold.

Ugly kick...Davis should have had the first down...he's running decently so far but his acceleration seemed pretty slow trying to reach the first down marker

Chicago is tough place to kick in, but with high snap that'll cost ya.

4 and 1 and we didn't go for it?? We did the Bears a huge favor there. We have no confidence. Smach it down their throat!

chicago looks as bad as the Texans.....playcalling wise. And Carr is a 3 year starter.

Well, I wonder how much the -8 wind chill affects the play calling...that ball probably feels like a large rock at this point.

Polk looked lost on that play. He was unblocked and he wasn't close to stopping the A-train.

Yea, but if he somehow ran it back we would be singing a different tune. It won't matter if our offense can or can't get itself together.

This offense is inept as a team.

They aren't on the same page, sometimes they are at home, but go on the road it's like they think they need to learn a foreign language and use it with each other.

Hutchison is no threat but if Chicago keeps getting the ball in the Texans end of the field they'll run it in.

The Texans came into this game hoping the weather would give them an excuse to play pathetically again.

Come on folks... almost 1/2 of the second quarter gone, score 0 to 0 and people are already sounding like they are giving up. Yes, they arent playing thier best, but have a bit of faith.
