I am undecided. To me a lot depends on what we get for Carr.

If Smith is about to fleece Al Davis for a 2nd rounder this year for Carr I am happy to move 2 spots and next years second for Schaub.

I am not convinced that Schaub is an upgrade to Carr. What he is though is a fresh start and a new face without the baggage. If he can with the faith of his teammates the trade will be worthwhile.

straight up, do you like the trade
I hope I'm wrong ,but I'm worried we gave up to much!! If AP is at #8 like some mock drafts have said lately, then we might misout on him and give possibly getting Kaili and who knows what next year for largely unproven QB. But Matt is on our team and I'll pull for him with everything I got.Again I hope I'm wrong

I like the trade. He was the best QB out there in FA. That's why the Falcons locked him down. That's also why the price was as steep as it was.

Let's face it. We all know that they screwed up by not taking a QB last year (I'm not even gonna name names.) Now they admit it...and they go get the best one available now.

As of today, he's....

Better than Garcia.
Better than Plummer.
Better than Ramsey.
Better than Rattay.
Better than Harrington.
Better than Russell.
Better than Quinn.
Better than Kolb.

Of course he's gonna cost something.

Yes we flipped 8 to 10 and gave up this year and next years 2nd round picks to the Falcons, is it worth it? only time will tell, but I know we did not get our 35 million dollars worth out of David in the last 5 years......

HELL YES it was a great move.

Now, if we can just get a star RB in the 1st...we'll be set for awhile. Green isn't the long term fix, just a patch.

So, at #10...Lynch should be their if not...grab a guy like Bush in the 3rd, due to injury...he should still be their.

I think we can wait till next year...08 will be the year of the RB...

I know I just felt violated.

The title reads Schaub poll and the first pic is a bunny humping a chicken.

The result of that union was my Avatar.

Cautiously optimistic on the trade, I am willing to trust Kubiak at this point since he does seem to know his QB's.

Scarry thought... Kubiak has said before that Sage has the potential to be a starter in the NFL... what if they trade Sage away and keep Carr as a backup?
