I think Minny goes with Landry in that spot, and I really don't care for any of our other picks at all. Smith in the 4th is the best pick, but nothing special.

Right now, it should be Sage. He is deserving of his chance, knows our system, and has timing with our guys. This is a piss-poor QB draft, meaning our franchise QB is not available this year.

Carrs extension runs through 08 I beleive, maybe if he gets a LT he might turn things around

He could be the next Kurt Warner. Ya never know until you give the guy a little look. I think the Texans sent him to NFLE to get him some PT under his belt and then get him back to show us what he learned.

I heard Kubiak was wanting to play QB next year.

I think we go DT - Okoye or Branch at #8 in that scenario. We can get a S in the second or third round.

your top 8 are pretty much the accepted form with only a month or so to go

I don't like McCauley, while he has all the tools his work ethic, ability to help in run support & soft coverage remind me to much of Phillip Buchannon (who was a 1st rd. #17 pick).

Ryan Harris I don't like either, soft flat footed don't think he'll even work out as a tackle probably move inside to the guard position.

Steve Smith is a good pick in the 4th rd. should contribute but not super excited about him either.

I like Keith Jackson DT alot more than Jeremy Clark.

Xzavie Jackson is an interesting pick would be a good value @ a need position.

FB Deon Anderson don't know much about. would depend on if the Texans resign Leach. a FB prospect I do know about played right here in Houston last year named Jackie Battle, I really like him out of the backfield with a little swing type pass, shows excellent hands & ability to run after the catch. if Sage is the QB I expect alot of this type of play action.
