andre's post combine draft

ive created some mocks and messed around with ideas but i think im good now lol!!!! so here it goes feedback encouraged...

round 1- Laron Landry all around best pick even if peterson is there.....i think that a true fs is a way bigger need then rb esp with the talent we have at those positions already.....maybe green can help taylor be a great back

round 2- Daymioen Hughes an excellent corner i said before the combine that he is the BEST CORNER imo but I KNEW HIS 40 TIME WOULD HURT HIM!!!!! cant find the thread i posted it in...he is very comparable to nathan vasher......excellent corner with slow measurables.....

round 3- Jason Hill an excellent wr with break away speed....he can come in and challenge the number wr position. great hands and very elusive. i like this pick in the 3rd....

round 4- Kareem Brown a dt who can collapse the pocket and force the qb outside to bid ol' mario williams!!!!! i think he will help the dline out alot...


there are 4 rounds in which each guy could potentially play from the start. our defense would be soo great. and hill well, he will be such an impact on our offense!!!!!just think of how much the raiders defense improved with there secondary.....they are like 7th in total defesne arent they????i think this would be an ideal draft......jmo

Daymeon hughes is a Cover 2 CB. I dont think he fits our system IMO...I like the other picks...

i really like the idea of taking defensive backs with the first two pics

yup. i'm expecting hughes to drop big time.

fox sports has Hughes going to Tennessee in the first lol probably cuz of Pacman

i do to....look at how well the raiders defense was with a great secondary!!!!they were like 7th in total defense....plus we have great dline prospects and they may get better with some time to pass rush longer.....i think a secondary with d-rob and hughes as cb's.....then laron and earl as safeties.....wow i would be so happy. that would be a huge boost.....

getting landry and the best CB available in the 2nd followed by a WR that would hopefully be able to start opposite andre would be the ideal way to wrap up the first day of the draft imo.

I would personally prefer atleast 1 OL on the first day, so I would rather have C Samson Satele in the 3rd Round if he was still available. Also, I think the Texans can pick up a DT in the 5th Round like maybe Walter Thomas or Paul Soliai. That would free up the 4th Round pick for a WR. I'm not sure what Round he projects to being picked in, but I would like to see the Texans draft WR Jacoby Jones.
