New Offensive Line Assistant Coach

I hear we got a new coach added to the list. His name is Frank Pollack. He coached at the Northern Arizona university. I have no clue who he is or even the school he coached at. So does anybody have clue what he has done?

Okay Samurai, I'm not being critical, but in one sentence you say that he coached at NAU, then in the next sentence you say that you don't know who the guy is or what school he coaced at....

just curious.

I think he meant that he's never heard of either one...

I think he just means he doesn't know anything about the school ( other then the name ).

Right on.. Thanks Royalty and TwinSisters.... It was one of those deals that I read and kinda went blank.

OK, I'm waiting for it. Where's this guy's Denver/GB connection? I know it's coming.

Okay... I will take a stab at the 6 degree of separation... Someone said that he was O-lineman with SF 49ers when Young was the QB.. Could that have been the same time when Kubiak was the QB coach?? If so, Pollack----> Kubes (@SF)---->Kubes goes to Denver...

*EDIT* Twin Sisters beat me to it, with even a better tie.

He played in Denver in 92-93.

Yeah, but Kubiak wasn't in Denver then ( that was his back to College Station period ). Unless it doesn't matter if Kubiak is involved or not??

Pollack was drafted out of NAU in 1990 by the 49ers.

EDIT:

I guess I should say this... great hire as far as I can tell. It's an offensive line assistant position, the guy is just getting started, he's been in the NFL, and he is not wearing diapers. That's good. Although I guess I am still going to cringe if people start calling him Lil' Franky or Polles.

How about maybe he's done well enough to earn the recognition? From the looks of thing he's done a pretty decent job at NAU. We should be happy to get someone that has Walsh connections and has got Superbowl success under them.

Instead all you seem to whine and care about is his connections to Denver.

Lame.

The team also hired another coach, Frank Pollack, with ties to the Bronco pipeline. Pollack will work as John Benton's assistant, coaching the offensive line. Spending most of his playing career with the 49ers, Pollack went into private business after his retirement. He later shifted career goals to become a coach at his alma mater, Northern Arizona, in 2005.

assistant line coach, but haven't found a bio on him except that we was a tackle with the 49ers

I didn't see this mentioned on other threads and if it was, please merge
