Free Agent Start Date

I thought that was just when teams could start talking to the agents. I didnt know if there was another date when contracts could be signed. Normally there are many deals that are made right at the "12:01" mark.

I don't know, either. I had heard today Wong and Davis-Williams would be allowed to shop today, but not cut until June (July?) 1 to spread out the cap hit.

If that's the case I don't see why the Texans don't just release them now and put them under the new rule they have where you can designate 2 players as June 1st cuts earlier than June 1st.

That's what I heard was going to happen. Waiting for some kind of news of that happening, nothing yet.... (sorry I was unclear!)
