Anyone have the video on D-Rob on Cold Pizza

Sorry to start a new thread, but I didn't want this to get burried into the other thread without people seeing it. I was wondering if anyone had the interview that they could send a link to?

I would like to see the interview myself, as I'm sure many other would.

Thanks,

Ash

Yeah, please don't merge this thread.

I would like to see the video too. This is really important and deserves it's own thread.

If you go on ESPN.com, their espn 360 video thing it's under the NFL list. Not sure how to link it, so I'll leave that to someone else. It's called 'Dunta Robinson talks Texans Football"

you know...I just watched it and I can't see where he dogs Carr or said anything that could be "fighting words" to sgt Hulka...Moulds was a bit more cutting in his interview with Dalati.

I went to the site, and there were two videos....One said "360" on it, and the other didn't. I couldn't listen to the 360 for some reason, so I just watched the other. The one I watched, he didn't say anything about him thinking Carr should go, said maybe sometimes need a fresh start. I also didn't hear him say anything in regards to needing to get up to Champ's level.

I am wondering if this was just a snipit of the whole interview???

If that's all it was, it's much ado about nothing. The cliche "it's been tough for him and sometimes guys need a fresh start" is hardly throwing anyone under a bus, although it's far from an endorsement either.

I watched the 360 one and then started the other and it started off the same so I assume they are the same video although I didn't finish it......

Gotta love Hulk ... "God Bless you and oh by the way, I want to beat the piss out of you" lol....

AJ, how did you get the 360 to start? Mine did nothing when I tried.

If you don't mind, will you watch the entire, and see if anything else is added. People were also saying he wanted to get to Champ Bailey's level, but I heard NOTHING of that in the video i watch.

Yeah I watched it and didn't see anything wrong with it all. This whole thing has been blown out of proportion, he was pretty PC to me. He may of showed him the bus, but he didn't throw him under it.

I just clicked on it and it rolled. They are the same video. Neither have the Champ comments but it appears to be edited if you look closely right before the Brady Quinn question.

Bob Allen is on local ABC 13 in about a minute with some stuff ... he mentioned Dunta "publicly speaking out" in the intro.
He's on now....

Well......the clips on 360 that we're talking about above are definitely NOT what Allen showed that he said were from Cold Pizza this morning.

Allen just showed a clip of Dunta saying "it's probably best that it does happen" (trade or release of Carr). It was a different set that what's on the 360 videos. No split screen. Dunta appears to be sitting on the set in the clip Allen just showed.

eh, it was Dunta's comments (I said Moulds above). He just said that Carr isn't getting it done and it's probably best that he moves on to another team.

Basically, Dunta said he had played with David for three years, they weren't winning games and that was why David was drafted and it would be best for the team if David went. This on ch. 13

Do you know who the real loser in all this is.......Mario Williams.

There were alot of fans against Carr before the Texans decided to pass on VY. Carr struggled and VY played well, McClain is right, Fans will never forgive Carr, or forget what happened.

If Carr's gone and Mario doesn't have a great year, (especially if VY does, hell Reggie for that matter) All the negative energy focused at Carr is going straight to MW. Is it fair, no, just the pressure of a #1 ovrl. pick.

I watched the ESPN 360 and Dunta absolutly did not throw Carr under the bus. Said it's been though for him and sometime a change to something else helps. Much ado about nothing IMO.

Since you're in CO, I know you didn't get the version of his comments
here on the local Houston channel. But Dunta was plain spoken, but there
was no animosity and he was respectful.
Just said Carr hasn't got the job done, and it would be best for the team if
he packs it in and moves on, in so many words.
The response from all concerned should be interesting ?

If Mario doesn't play well he will hear it because he is the 1st pick of the entire draft class and playing poorly...not because of any leftover Carr disappointment. If he doesn't play well as the top pick in one of the deepest drafts this last decade....well, he's gonna hear it.

There's a different clip that was shown on local ABC news affiliate in Houston a few minutes ago. Dunta didn't mince words and said Carr leaving was probably for the best. Much more biting than what's on the ESPN site.

This is one reason why I HATE not living in Houston. Now I can't see the Bob Allen video!!

Thanks for all the updates guys, it really helps when you are far out like i, as well as others are.

Thanks for clearing that up. After watching the ESPN video, I was going to say this thread took things waaaaaay out of context. Hopefully ABC 13 will show it again at 10:00

...don't you know Dom Capers is loving all this, sitting under his umbrella on the beach in Miami...just counting that $3 million new salary (about twice Kubes pay), sipping his pina-colada and watching all the babes-thinking to himself, "...be careful what you wish for, Texans."

I posted this on the other Cold pizza thread too as its on Dunta - Mods feel free tomove it if need be.

IMO D-rob definetly has it in for DC and wants him gone. It's pretty crystal clear in this blurb on the Chronic this morning.

ROBINSON WEIGHS IN
Texans cornerback Dunta Robinson said Wednesday night that he believes it is time for quarterback David Carr to be traded.
"It's just my opinion, but I think it's that time," Robinson said. "We haven't won. I'm not saying it's David's fault, and I'm not saying he can't be a great quarterback with another team. But he's been here for five years, and the best we've been able to do is 7-9. I just think it's time for us to make some moves that'll help the Texans become a winning team."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the thread read "Anyone have the video of D-Rob on Cold Pizza". Sounds like Cold Pizza to me.
The clip with the interviewer in one panel and Dunta in the other isn't from Cold Pizza. That's the one that was on ESPN 360 that someone said WAS from Cold Pizza; they were wrong.

The Cold Pizza clip has Dana Jacobsen sitting next to Dunta and asking the questions.

So... you can't say people were blowing the Cold Pizza comments out of proportion because the clip you were referring to as the Cold Pizza interview wasn't the Cold Pizza interview.

I don't get it. :drunk:
:)

OK, one more time, to the best of my knowledge, the Cold Pizza clip hasn't been posted yet.

Some people are saying that the clip doesn't seem all that bad but the clip they're looking at is not the Cold Pizza clip, it's an ESPN news clip or something.

Wow, so this wasn't a one time thing with Dunta?? He's actually answered this question twice, and neither were favorable to David??

Wow.

The funny thing is that I actually am a little confused about this, but if I ask questions, I'm sure to cause mass confusion all around at this point, lol.

There have been at least 3 times.

There was one time during the season where he kinda danced around it but it was obvious that he was talking about Carr being a problem and not performing.

There is an interview on ESPN News that appears on ESPN 360 where he makes comments that aren't particularly inflammatory.

And then there is the interview on Cold Pizza where he basically comes out and says that Carr had his shot and it's time for him to move on and he hopes we'll be able to bring in a veteran QB... among other things.

I'm not sure if the Chronicle quote comes from one of these interviews or from another interview. I think they might have pulled parts of it from the Cold Pizza interview but I'm not sure.

to clear it up...

Dunta did 2 interviews for ESPN.

1 was for Cold Pizza

1 was for ESPN News

the interview people have been watching is the one on ESPN News, not the one on Cold Pizza.

Dunta better bring it next year. I'm sure he's not even close to being the only player that feels that way, but it is unprofessional to throw a teamate under the bus like that.

I don't totally get what you are saying but don't get me wrong. I love Dunta. He has been good for us, but he does need to watch what he says. But at the same time, he is also speaking for the team. I think you and I agree on the issue but am not totally understanding your comment. Dunta is greater than stirring the pot?
