If I'm not mistaken I think I heard that Steve McKinney will be released on T.V yesterday.
Can anyone confirm this ?

Which TV station did you hear this from?
I'm pretty sure SETH McKinney got released yesterday, not sure about Steve though.
I heard they were going to move him back to center this year.
Hate to say it but Mckinney was by far the best center on the team last year. Unless we sign a FA or draft a top notch center, it would make zero sense to relesase him. I highly doubt the veracity of this report. Most likely, they just heard Mckinney, and assumed it was Steve when it is Seth.
Wonder if the Texans might have an interest in Seth??
didnt they show intrest in seith last year?
I think they made him an offer last year when he was a free agent. I remember that he came to Houston and met with the FO during the offseason.
Steve is going nowhere as we have no back up. Flannagan may not make team and Hodgdon has not worked out. Seth is a possibility @ center but I did not follow him last year. Didn't he get hurt? Steve played center but only for a few games as I recall and was hurt himself.
wasn't steve fairly decent at center?
Don't hold back any, Herv...tell us how ya really feel!!!! I couldn't agree more, though.Only if the definition of a fairly decent center includes an utter inability to hold up against the most trivial rush and a pocket that collapses from the inside faster than it does from the edges despite the fact that you have no tackles worth mentioning.
In that case then Steve was a fairly decent center.
Last year in limited action he only appeared that way because he played very few reps, the (backup) tackles were getting abused on a regular basis and our other options at the time were even worse than he was. He also played late in the year and benefited from the improved running game.
Steve McKinney should have been the fourth player let go today. That's been a long time coming.
He has value...keep him. He did a good job at the end of the season.. Once we moved him to center at the end of hte season, we had great rushing games, and went 2-0...
