on the houston texans website, there is a picture of babin vs. some O-line guy, and it looks like babin is getting owned. Could just be a bad shot, but i hope its not an indication of whats to come.

How in the world is a picture of a blocking drill a snapshot of a player getting "owned"? That is simply Mark Bruener blocking Jason Babin in a drill.

Well lets take a look Vinny. He is right in front of the blocker, and has NO leverage. He is basically standing straight up. He isnt going anywhere. That is called getting OWNED. I hope it is just a slow drill.
 
You know I have to agree with Lucky. I think we should just forfeit the season right now. Either that or perhaps we can become a Division III school? :rofl:

How do you know Babin isn't 5 yards deep into Breuner? Give me a break man. Geesh.
 
One more thought. How do we know thats a photo of a drill? Perhaps Breuner and Babin are practicing for a big dance recital coming up. Hey ... it could happen. :pepper:

I agree the season is over....i am putting my tickets up on e-bay....forget it.....i think i will just throw them in trash....they are worthless anyway......it is a freaking drill!!!!! Quit over analyzing!!!!! :soapbox:
 
:shrug: C'mon guys...taking easy on him. He probably under analyzed it and posted it without putting much thought to it. He just wanted to get some feedback...not get flamed. :grouphug:

I'm sure he's aware of the fact that Breuner is a what :um: .... a 4-5 year veteran when Babin is just coming in.....I'd rather see Babin getting owned on that pic than Breuner that's for sure. Now...on that one pic Babin is getting owned...not to say that's how it will be every play but DC Rock is just pointing out that Breuner has the best of him on that one shot....that's all.

Oh my god, its worse than we all thought, thats not Babin...thats Wang being owned by a 2nd year LT with one hand behind his back. Babin wheres a revolutionary face mask,remember. Now we need a whole new OLB corps. We will have no pass rush. :slap:
 
Instead of over analyzing our rookies...shouldnt we be glad that our new addition of Bruener and all the stories that came with it are true...that being that he is one of the BEST BLOCKING TIGHT ENDS IN THE GAME RIGHT NOW????

That should have all of you jumping for joy watching lanes open up for Davis and Hollings this year.

Also from this photo we can determine that Chris Palmer is sticking to the conservative run offense. Or he refuses to release the TE's into the pass pattern. Did you notice that Bruener has his hand up in Babin's grill? Another season of excessive penalties. :(

See there's a lot of good stuff in this photo if you look at it long enough (or too long).

No that photo does not prove it, but he does have a reputation that precedes him. Babin is still building his.

I could only hope a veteran would be able to get the better of a rookie 80% of the time during practice.
 
people just leave it alone, they were in practice, doing a drill or something, because if Babin really lets any blocker into his chest like that, he wouldnt be a 1st round choice. His arms are spread, allowing Bruener full exposure to his chest, people just stop, its only a drill :dontknowa
 
it's mini camp the young guys aren't gonna make every play...heck no one does...even a guy like me can make a play once in a million snaps

That is not Babin Or Wong. It is me in the picture. I was just making sure Wand understood how to block my fierce pass rushing skills. No need to worry, as you can see he did OK.
 
I just saw a picture of Dom with a clip board watching Carr...does this mean we are thinking of putting him on FA wire today? :rofl:

I remember all the talk of the AJ pictures of him either dropping the ball or a defensive back all over him.. and all the discussions on AJ's hands/separation from Kenny Wright (was it?)
 
Even if he is getting the best of Babin, Bruener is one of the best blocking TE's in the league, and Babin hasn't even played a NFL game yet. Too early to speculate..
