Send the wide outs on a combo of fly and corner patterns .Release Te or RB down the middle of the field , throw the ball over the LBs before the safteies can recover. That is the way I would attack the 2 deep zone.

Sounds just like how our D gets picked apart, throw to the level between the LBs and safties. I dont know why Carr cant do it, he sees our defense giving up these types of plays every week. THe problem is that we never send our RB anywhere except on swing routes and two yards up the middle. We also dont have any reliable TEs, Miller was dropping some balls this week. If this team drafts a TE this year or Joppru gets healthy the offense will open up drastically. The colts are effective because they have 3 good receivers, a unreal running back, and two good TEs. You are unstoppable when you have 6 guys who can make plays at any time.

jason witten for dallas looks pretty good. he was still available when we picked joppru. of course you couldnt predict joppru's injury. im not sure if witten can block but he can sure catch. we would probaly be better with him on our team.

TE's and slot reciever are the keys to beating the 2-deep zone. I think the greater question is how do you get deep on a 2-deep zone. My guess is that the running game has to be so good that the safties can't go back so far. When they do move up, then you get them with play-action.

send the running back into the flat, outside receiver to that side runs a skinny post, and the inside receiver runs a corner route...safety has to chose and the corner has to stay home.
