I want to address a few things here..

I read a few people who are in the 'know' supposely state that Carr is going to be here not for only camp, that he will be hear for much much much longer.

I also read a few people here who are in the 'know' state that Carr is gone for sure.

If you want to be in the 'know', find a friend on the inside.. they have a 50% chance of being right or wrong..

Look folks, Only VERY few people actually 'KNOW' what is going to happen to David Carr and the Texans. Kub is one, Mr. Mcnair is another. Every other person including the players on the Texans dont have a clue. If players are kept, its because they have influced the measureables for thier position. BUT we are only guessing. Kub and McNair have the only measureables that count.

Example of measureables are:
Cost of Player (Salary and Bonus)
Preformance of Player
Potential replacement for player.
Quality of replacement player.
Cost for replacement.
Conduct of player.
Value of player.
Condition of player (health wise)
Possible value to trade player.
etc.

IF all those in Kub/Mcnairs mind equals trade/cut Carr.. then it will happen. Otherwise it wont.

Look, for all you people who say this or that will happen, I am sorry, but if you aint Kub or McNair, then your friend/pal/family member that is a player/etc dont mean that you know. Players hear rumors but that dont mean Kub/McNair dont get a offer of a sweet deal , and change thier mind. They decide.. period.

I would much rather you say 'I have a freind on the inside, and he is given the impression that Carr is/isnt staying'. Thats all it is. Quit assuring people that you are in the 'KNOW' unless you have been informed personally by Kub or McNair.

I respect you all knowledge on learning what people inside the organization are saying, but we have to keep this real. There is even a rule on this board that states if you dont have a link, to verify what you are quoting, then your post/thread is removed...... BUT if you are in this supposed 'Know', then the thread/post stays... huh?

Can we just please report nicely what we hear, quit stating we 'KNOW' what is going to happen, and leave it to our leaders in McNair and Kub to lead us loyal fans to the promised land of the SuperBowl one day?

Lastly,
Quit labeling people as not real fans here or Lala-Bashers/Lovers. People here, for the most part, are speaking of what they see on/off the field. That doesnt make them less of a fan nor does that mean they are just bashers/lovers. That means they dislike/or like actions or play of a individual. Have them define the pros and cons and work on the good and bad parts of the player. Quit instantly put that person in a bash bag for that player. To say people here arent real fans because, they dont like a player, is generally the stupidest thing you can say on this board, and that doesnt help your case.
 
the guys who pull the trigger on these decisions don't even know how the off-season is going to shake out.....so why even put any stock in anyone "in the know" about how certain this or that will end up? Just don't pay attention to it and you will feel better inside.
 
OK... let's call it what it really is... a guessing game. :)

My GUESS is that unless something fantastic QB wise falls into our laps, we will be seeing Carr at least early in the year. As wierd as it may seem, my reasoning is based on the Mario pick last year. If you like Carr or not, I think many would agree that there are bigger holes to fill (Secondary, etc.) and I suspect the front office will be looking to fix those areas first, just like they did last year.

And since I am making wild predictions, I would not be too surprised to see us trade away our first round pick either for a talented vet at a position we really need or several picks in later rounds. (Any more DeMecos out there we can steal in the second round???) And IMO that is not a bad thing if you look at how many of our first round picks just haven't lived up to expectations.
 
If we all want to know what is going to happenwe all will have to wait UNTIL it happens. I don't know about others but I don't have ESP and can't tell what is going on in FO's minds.
 
I used to have a lounge act where I read minds, but couldn't make any money at it. Something about not getting things correct that seemed to hold me back from stardom. Now, I just follow what others do around here and just pretty much pull random none factual stuff out of my backside. Seems to work for folks here pretty well, so I'm just following.

So heres what we'd sound like if we were weather men,,,,,Todays forecast. The lows will be around 15 while the highs will be around 105. Today will be partly cloudy, really cloudy, or Not a cloud in the sky. The wind will blow out of the N,S,E, or W at 0 to 125 mph. Wow look at their i could be a forecaster :).

Actually, they're not usually THAT wrong anymore. Then again, technology does their job for them these days :secret:

Gosh, your one lucky guy, to have such a one on one personal relationship with someone like that on the inside. I get all my sports info from the Natioanl Enquirer. :pigfly:

I am so far out of the know, that I feel like I know more than those that believe they are in the know.
 
I have an insider that knows someone just hit one of Dime's hot buttons. They also say Dime will be here next season as a starting poster.

I asked God about this situation and He said that it depends on more specifics and peculiarities than he can count. Apparently, he was a Texans fan until the play-calling began to confuse him and Jesus said, "This is worse than what I had to go through."
