Vince Young to Andre Johnson...........

I hear that on NFL Network while I watch the Pro Bowl practice for the NFC. I'm over the draft but why does it still tick me off?
 
Because it's scary to think of what Vince would look like with a good receiver and it's a shame to think of what AJ would look like with a better quarterback.

well young certainly isn't a better passer than carr.

It's not that he isn't as good a passer, I think personally that he tends to throw too many up for grabs. I think as well as Mario, Vince will start to shine next season. He started to blossom this year but I think they could go playoffs this year. I know college =/= NFL, but after his first year, he was able to make Texas a true contender. He just needs to learn some basics. :ok:

Well, he's a Titan now though. So that means I hope he loses every game. I'm over VY.
 
I thank the good Lord every time I think about the fact that Vince Young is not a Texan. The sad fact is, though, that VY never had a chance of being a Texan. Pity.

yeah they need to dumb down the offense more i guess.

Well, i guess you were not at the game in houston. Vince youngs passes were on the money where only the reciever could make the catch. His receivers dropped several long balls. Carr was nowhere near as accurate in that game. That's the only time i watched vince this year.
 
Man! every one of the guys in those pics looked stoned out of their minds!! Andre is the only one who looks sober-ish.

I don't quite understand how a lot of these guys cry and moan about a preseason that is "too long", and yet offer them a free trip to Hawaii and there is not one complaint about an extra game. :ok:
 
yeah, a paid trip to Hawaii to suit up and goof off with a bunch of other great players...I wouldn't consider this to be a 'work trip'.

My thoughts exactly. They only play in the game for like maybe 10-15 minutes. They don't even really have to try.

If my company wants to send me to Hawaii for a week and I only have to do a couple hours of work a day, sign me up.

Did you notice how many players opted out of going? Vince Young got in because Tom Brady decided he'd rather play golf at Pebble Beach this week.

I think personally that that is because of not wanting to get the injury bug. He just wants to be cautious and that's nothing to be ashamed of. :ok:
