Dolphins, Cameron strike four-year deal

We don't need a guy named after an engine part. :stirpot:

Actually, I remember you hyping him up. Here's your chance to be right...............................

again. :secret:

Cameron on offense, Capers on defense.

He'll do good over there, should be a fun team to watch.

He should be able to help out their offense a lot and I think he'll be a good head coach. It will be interesting to see how San Diego's offense looks next year with Schottenheimer back in charge (maybe part of the reason the Chargers kept Schottenheimer around rather than cutting him loose as was rumored was because they sensed that Cameron could be on his way out). After all, their MVP Tomlinson didn't have especially kind things to say about Schottenheimer's playcalling.

I watched Cameron's press conference over at www.miamidolphins.com and I was impressed with the guy. I wan't sure at first, but I'm now quite excited about our new coach. He was the QB at Indiana in his college days. He also played basketball for Bobby Knight. Later, he was an assistant for Bo Schembechler at Michigan, and for Marty Schottenheimer at San Diego.

He inherits a few very good players to work with in Miami, including Zach Thomas(LB), Jason Taylor(DE), Channing Crowder(LB) and Ronnie Brown(RB). He spoke highly of Cleo Lemon(QB) who he coached at San Diego before Lemon was traded to Miami. He said some good things about Lemon in the press conference. I didn't get the same good vibes about his feelings for Culpepper.

So anyway, I'm optimistic. I trust that Mr. Huizenga has made a good choice.
