NFC Championship * Saints @ Bears

Well if they win I am gonna try real hard to get a ticket to the Superbowl.

I told the wife Its been 40 years and may never come again so I gotta be there.

Probably never find one affordable enough though.

Man I hope they crush the bears.

Let's see how the Saints play in Chicago...the weather, I'm sure, will be great. By great I mean freezing and raining.

I'm pulling for the Bears because I live in East Texas and that is where Lovie Smith is from(Big Sandy). I live in Lindale it's about 30 min. from Big Sandy. His sister works at my job and she talks to me about how he is doing. It's pretty cool, so I would like to see them make it.

WOW, how kool working with his sister

Early line has the Bears favored by 2 1/2 - 3 points with 43 O/U, 'bout what
we'd expect.
Weather in Chitown on gametown will be the wild card for sure.

At three points, it is pretty much a toss up as the home team usually gets 3 just for being the home team.

Saints to the Superbowl !!!!!!

What a party it will be as the Superbowl may never see anything like it before or again :yahoo:

bears drive =

1st down - inc. pass
2nd - jones 5 run
3rd - inc pass, grossman was pressured on a CB Blitz, avoided the sack but just threw it away.

I agree his knee was down before the ball was out...but it was starting to shift a little so I don't know how theyll call it.

Edit: Ruling on the field stands...BS call.

I think in the replay system, all plays are replayed at full speed, not in slow motion.

Regardless, it was still a terrible call.

Thats bull!

Already the worst bunch of cadaver for refs gets another call in a big game wrong. He still had it even before ti popped out. The fact is, they missed it the first time and had to discuss it. Get some full time guys in there instead of a bunch of part time car salesmen.

there wasn't enough evidence to over turn the call on the field. If he was ruled down, that call would of probably been upheld to. The Saints put themselves in this position so the have nobody to blame except themselves.

Agreed!

yes it did, but then he regained possesion, and he had it locked into his chest, I could tell he was down when the play originally happened....NFL refs = terrible, even with the replay.

As much as it pains me to say the words, Dream is right on this one, that's exactly the way I saw it.

it's 6 inches...lol
Really now?

Wouldn't that mean he fumbled the ball and then could not recover it?

What the hell is wrong with Benson, that guy was a beast at Texas, now he can't even pick up short yardage situations and really hasn't done anything in the NFL.

Benson at the position he was drafted = Bust.
