Your thoughts

It would have to be on one of the two battle red days of course.

Not very important stuff, but it's better than another Carr thread.

Am I the only one who isn't a major fan of the helmets. I like them alright but there is something about them that is cartoonish and b-team. I'm not sure what they could do but that is just my "style" critique.:)

maybe if they made it a frog with horns? haha

just messing with ya

I acually went to High School with Jeff Ballard..well for a year

Thats exactly what it is, they just do stuff like wear white jersey and pants(against Eagles)/ blue jerseys and blue pants(against Colts)..I dont really like the white jerseys not interesting. I like battle red and steel blue. The combo that you show is cool

Should use the Deep Blue Steel unis at home, Liberty White on the road, and Battle Red as our alternate jerseys.

I think they should have like another alternate color like black with blue lettering or smoke grey with black, well just something with more colors.:ok:

OOOOOO and WHITE HELMETS with the logo on it :marionaner:

It's really simple. I want to see the Texans wear their away uniforms when they're playing on the road. I want to see the Texans wear their home uniforms when they're playing at home UNLESS it's one of their two allowed alternate days where I expect to see the Battle Red jerseys.

I don't really care what pants they wear on any given day (though I admit that the blue pants looked good with the blue jerseys).

The only thing I truly get annoyed about is the fact that we seem to wear white jerseys too often early in the year. It gets old and it's our least attractive uniform.

That should be the home. Either that or the deep steel blue one.

The battle red jerseys should become our permanent home jerseys. I really dont understand why not.... everyone likes them more and they play better in them. Not to mention Texas already has a team with Blue, Silver and White up in Dallas. Lets be different (and battle red is different).

If you wear a uniform too much it will lose its mystique. I'd rather have two games where we are really pumped up because of a special occasion than have it become our normal uniform and lose the edge.

it's a southern tradition. wear white becasue it's hot out and the dark colors will make the other team fatigue quicker.

Yes I know. It worked like a charm against the Steelers in our home opener last year.

I understand why they do it and it's a load of Toro excrement. Just wear the uniform you're supposed to wear and play football guys.

that's my view on it.

I'm confused. Do other teams transition their uni's as much as it seems that the Texans do....or does it just seem like that because there is so much discussion on this board about it. I really never paid attention that much.
I'm for the uni's that make us win the most. Am I fashion-conscious dead?:embarrass

Do we have grey pants? I really havn't even paid any attention to that, I havn't noticed at all. I like the Giants Blue jersey on grey pants. Could look good with our Red or Blue.

On another note i love our logo and helmet.

I with the Battle Red for all home games ppl.

Deep Steel on Deep Steel looks good too, but the NFL has a rule about having one white uni.

who knew football was this fashionable..... we need little cut out unis and players to mix and match them with. :shades:

There's no reason to wear the white jerseys at home now that they have established the temperature guidelines for the roof. It's not going to dip below 80 before Battle Red Day, so the roof will be closed - they should wear the blue jerseys for all home games.

I don't like the all-white pajamas. the all-blue didn't look as bad as I thought it would, but I still favor the mix and match.
