How come no one here has any real info on the Texans?

Strikes me as odd that this is a big-a55 message board and nobody here seems to have any inside stuff on the team. Usually isn't there a ball boy or somebody like that who leaks reliably to a team's msg board?

Take the Carr thing. Surely someone in town knows what the team is planning, whether they're going to try to dump him, trade him, or keep him. But all we get is homers of one kind of another saying he must NOT be here, or he WILL be here.

What about other Texans sites--anybody find anything that looks like real information? Link, pls.

There is plenty if you read the threads. However, even "inside" info needs to be filtered as relatives, friends and first level workers do not have a true finger on the pulse either.

However, I am fine with no info on Carr. All we need to be concerned with is him performing well next week in a Texans' win.

Why would anyone want to "leak" any info out that isn't already speculated. Sure a "ballboy" could say something, but would you take his word on it? I sure hope not. Until the owner, HC, GM say anything about any player, even the best "insider" is not one I would take to serious.

well.... when we have one of the biggest anti-Carr posters on the board tell us his inside source says that David will start for the Texans through the end of his contract(2 more years).... I don't see how you can say we have no inside stuff.....

A ball boy just told me that Carr will complete a legal name change at the end of the season. Also, our starting quarterback next season will be a man named David Czarr. The ball boy then speculated that this Czarr fella will be our quarterback for another twenty years but will miss the record for oldest starting quarterback which will be held by Vinny Testaverde who will be starting for Bill Parcells and the Juneau Watts which the ball boy speculates will be the third expansion team between now and 2027. My source was careful to point out that this last part was purely speculation.

I'm not sure the braintrust themselves has determined what to do, so how can an insider report on something that hasn't been decided?

I know this might be a concept, but maybe just maybe Kubiak is telling the truth when he says they will evaluate Carr's future at the end of the season.

There are player relatives on here who some times claim inside knowledge. Haven't seen any of it come out true yet.

Actual insiders, such as cheerleaders, FO staff, interns, other personnel (if they even have any inside knowledge???) probably respect the organization and value their jobs such that they don't leak. The organization is classy from the top down.

Do you actually believe what you write? Cheerleaders with "Inside Knowledge" no wonder the Texans are the laughing stock of the NFL!

Respect is earned and the Texans have not earned it from anyone not even the "waterboy".

Classy is a last resort for those that never win. I always hear Boob McLoser is a "Classy Guy", as he takes all of your hard-earned cash laughing all the way to the bank as he delivers the city of Houston a crappy product.

Keep drinking the Kool-Aid!

The only reason people don't turn in their season tickets is because he stuck it to ya'll with the Personal Seat Licenses when he was the "savior" that brought football back to Houston.

Sorry I don't call what you see at Reliant Stadium "football" much less professional "football."

Though I thoroughly enjoy watching VY make Boob McLoser his B--ch twice a year. Now that's fun!

I thought SWT, who was willing to bet anyone on the board whatever they wanted to bet, had already told us all the inside info we needed. :bowser: I think not!

"The organization is classy from the top down" .. you don't seriously believe that do you?
ok, i never reply to really any posts but that statement kinda made me chuckle.

I'm sure there has been inside information posted here that has been accepted; other information has probably been shouted down by other posters.

Remember, it often isn't the accuracy of information that is debated here. It is how well any information presented fits into other posters' existing world views.

hey, here's some inside info! ----> this thread :secret:

If that dude is Carr's brother than of course he thinks he is coming back. I think the smart money on him is coming back but David himself doesn't even know whether he is coming back or not for sure. If David doesn't know, then his brother doesn't know either.

if he is indeed Carr's brother that must explain why he has been so blindly loyal in the face of mountains of contradictory evidence.

As we saw this past draft... don't even trust the Owner until the Picks are made. This past year, the Texans made it look like they were interested in VY and RB, and it worked well for them. They sold all the season tickets prior to the draft to every fan and scalper in the state (including me). After that, they went on to do what they thought was best for the team.

Lesson I learned from this... Just because the Posters on this board and the Houston radio personalities, and in this case the whole national media says that the Texans will do something. It means nothing to Bob McNair when the time comes to make the decision. He listens to the people who do this for a living.

Thats one of the reasons I think we will be in the playoffs by 2008.
