Mario and Demeco tidbit

just a small piece about the colts game yesterday..nothing special but nice to read something positive for a change

I think the Texans made the drafting of Mario Williams and DeMeco Ryans look very, very good Sunday. Both were vital in the win over the Colts. "I don't care how people judge me,'' Williams said afterward. "I know I'm a part of building something good for this franchise.'' He showed it Sunday.

I believe him, and look forward to it. :texflag:

Great game, too. I'm still kinda' tripped out about it.

It's amazing what ESPN will do to show a good play of Reggie Bush in the highlights they show. And then they won't even turn around and show Mario's forced fumble. No wonder everyone thinks Reggie is better.

His 1400+ yards and 6+ TD's (the last 4 weeks) probably have something to do with that too
so what about the TWO TD's up until week 11? ESPN was still hyping his lackluster performance, even as he had -5 yards rushing week 10 and didnt have a game with more than 68 yards receiving until December 3rd. yesterday was his first 100 game and only his 4th game of more than fifty yards rushing all season. ESPN blows. it's amazing how a good month can make it appear as if the guy had a great year, when all he has had is a great month.

Right ! That 1-yard end run has been repeated over and over again, with no
mention of other rookie RBs performance this past weekend including Maurice
Drew. Drew once again had a more productive day than Bush, and that's usually the case for both Maroney & Addai also.
And Mario did have a good game with a couple of highlight plays, but no way that they'd run that on their channel.

but nfl network keeps showing the mario ff and saying we did good....plus we bat the colts whocares abot espn u know isay fuespn haha

You could tell that Mario's foot is hurting him bad.

The first series that the Texans were on defense, Mario completely blew up Diem (RT) on consecutive plays. It was almost an uppercut off the line of scrimmage and right around the tackle. I was extremely impressed. I can't imagine how he'd play with a healthy foot.

wait wait wait.....1400 plus? his recieving and rushing totaled equals 1274. there is no 1400 plus yards and especially not in the last 4 weeks. also im just goin to point out before you go off saying well hes a threat both as a reciever and HB, D. Davis last year with his total rush yardage and receiving yardage had 1313 yards. more than Bush. ESPN makes him into a god when he is only mortal. dont get me wrong phenominal athlete will probably be great but he isnt as good as hes hyped up to be.
