Our Defense Held Favre 4 a Long Time...

Even though we lost our defense did very well, you can't hold a guy like Favre down forever. We had four opportunities to score big and came away with three field goals and one miss. Did anyone hear Carr on the sidelines taking resposibility for Green Bay scoring?? We are still maturing and I'm very satisfied with the team overall. We need to work more on the run game, personally I feel they need to do more dump passes to Dominick Davis, that is really where he shines. I'm looking for them to change it up some in their schemes, and playing the Titans next week will bring back some smiles, watch you'll see...... :grouphug:

Now go enjoy some turkey and be safe..........

I think our defense did a very good job. There's only so much a defense can do against a Brett Favre. Their players made plays and ours didn't. I was happy with our defense and specially Glenn and Robinson. Robinson is quickly becoming our best player in defense, even though he got burned by Driver on that TD pass. The problem in our offense is that our o-line men aren't opening holes for DD to run through. From what I can see our guards Weigert and Pitts aren't playing very well. I thought Wade and Wand did a good job. As for McKinney, he had to handle Grady Jackson and that's a tough assignment. Bottom line is that I don't think our o-line players are opening holes big enough for DD to run through.

Sad thing is Grady Jackson could have been ours. He was waived by the Saints early last year and claimed by the Packers. He has been a tremendous improvement for their line. Why we didn't take him is a mystery.

He supposedly is a trouble maker and I think he got into trouble with the law, but who doesn't these days?

I was very pleased with our defense! We played a good game i just wish we would've won. I think this game proved that we can work together as a team. Hopefully we will start playing well and win! that would be extremely nice! I still love my Texans though no matter what.

Actually I believe the criticism was he didn't keep his weight where the Saints wanted it and they thought he loafed in practice. Now I would prefer players that are good examples in practice as well, but he is a very solid player. He would have made a huge difference in Payne's absence last year and certainly could contribute in strengthening the rotation now. But that's the way it goes.
