Thanks for your support!

Your bottom 5 teams and why :)

Yankee_In_TX

Dance Lindsay!
1. Ravens (I was a Browns fan when we lost our franchise to Balt.)
2. Cowboys (nuff said)
3. Titans
4. Colts (I despise the Manning family in general :))
5. Raiders (they're just, I dunno, the Raiders)

1. Cowboys (although secretley I want them to do well so we can have an all texas superbowl)

2. Jaguars

3. Raiders

4. Bills

5. Falcons

We;re talking which we dislike the most, right, not which are actually the worst in the NFL?

Was glad too see you kept you personal feelings from clouding your picks. By the way: Manning family talks well of you. :shades:

Don't get me wrong, I also despise the Colts in general because we've never beaten them. It's an added bonus Peyton plays for them :)

Yes, this is in response to Blue's who is your #2 team, I wondered which teams the people like the least.

cowboys
vikings
titans
browns
ravens

i hate purple and ugly uniforms.......and dallas

1) Atlanta - Hated division rival, overhyped QB/RB/STD, Ignorant bandwaggon fans, meddlesome cocky owner.

2) Dallas - See last two reasons above, TO, lived in NW Louisiana for few years and was forced to watch the 'pokes instead of N.O.

3) Oakland - Just never liked them, wait I need a reason?. Ok, Moss not trying and not being repremanded at all, archaic offense that just hurts my eyes.

4) Carolina - Division, Delhomme cries too much, media seems to annoint them Champs every year and never backs off until its mathematicall impossible for them to make the playoffs.

5) University of Miami (FL) - I know, I know, not technically an NFL team. But the arrest records of the current and former players would make the Bengals blush and suggest that they should be the next expansion team into the league.

:)

1. Cowboys- Rival team, Yankees of football, arrogant organization, etc... I don't see how you can be a fan of a team like the Yankees, Lakers, Cowboys, etc.

2. Falcons- Overrated, I hate Vick and how everyone loves him just because the media hyped him up, and the fact that Atlanta is probably the worst pro sports city, especially of those that have all 3 pro sports (hockey doesn't count it's going down anyways the arenas are empty during games lol)

3. Raiders- Similar reasons for hating the Cowboys.

4. Colts- Outside of Manning, I hate this team, and I am currently from Indiana. I have liked Peyton since he was at Tennessee (my dad is a big Tennessee fan), and I don't get why people start hating players just because of the team they play for (i.e. Texas+Texans fans now hating Vince Young just because he plays for the Titans... What if he all of the sudden got traded to say the Buccaneers or something, then you would all of the sudden like him again, right?)

5. Eagles- Their fan base is probably among the most ignorant in all of sports yet they will cry if there is ever a debate about best sports city/fans and they are not in the discussion. They think they are the best fans but they are up there with the worst. A couple of weeks ago on Mike and Mike in the morning they were talking about this same thing saying how stupid Philly fans are because Art Schell had a better fan approval rating than Andy Reid.

1-Green Bay-hate Brett Favre, used to be a fan, but hes in denial, oh and the colors, ewww
2-Titans-AFC south
3-Colts-AFC south
4-Cowboys-don't need a reason, even better cuz my cousins are cowgirl fans, so when we do beat them, ima be in there face
5-Giants-hate eli manning, and never a fan of them, im more of a jets guy

1. Cleveland Browns - because I live in Cleveland and Browns fans drive me crazy!

2. New England Patriots - because they foiled the Steelers chances for getting to the Super Bowl more than once

3. Cincinnati Bengals - because of the criminal history of so many members of their team

4. Oakland Raiders - rivalry with the Steelers from the 70s

5. Dallas Cowboys - arrogance, Parcells, T.O., many other reasons...

Cowboys- Never have liked them and alot of bandwagon jumpers alone the way.

Bills-Never forgave them for the comeback on the oilers,

Colts-Division rivary and also I hat manning

Jaguars-Division rivary

Texans-Division rivary

and if I had a 6th it would be the giants, cause I dont like neither one of the mannings.

1. Ratbirds
2. Ravens
3. Baltimore
4. The team that used to be the Cleveland Browns
5. The Titans retirement home.

Oh, yeah - and the Jags, too.

1. Titans - Bud Adams, division rival, Earl Campbell's number retired as a Tennessee Titan
2. Cowboys - It's the Dallas Cowboys
3. Colts - division rival, 0-9
4. Jaguars - divisional rival (even though we own them)
5. Dolphins - [couldn't think of a #5, so picked Miami due to their goofy logo]

I enjoy watching these teams as an NFL fan, but I always root against them. When they play each other, I'll root against them in that order. It shows you the extent of my dislike for Bud and his team when I'd have to root for the friggin' Cowboys.

1. Tampa Bay--the history of being a bad team for decades, then reverting back to their old reputation.
2. Philadelphia--Cowboys rival
3. Redskins--Cowboys rival
4. Jacksonville--has rubbed me the wrong way since clothes lining one of our players and celebrating
5. Arizona --just boring to me

If they'd just take the helmet off the dolphin, I'd be o.k. with the original. If you look at all the NFL logos together, Miami's just looks high school-ish, IMO. It never has sat with me well, even as a kid. (I had a buddy back then that felt the same way about the Oilers derrick....used to get into arguments over it.)

It used to be the trifecta of bad logos with these three:

I don't hate any team. In the end football is a sport for the fans so I understand where you guys are coming from - but I can't help but respect every player on every team. Regardless of production, they risk their career every down of every game. The precision at which they must dial in their strength to weight ratio, explosiveness and speed are just plain amazing. Football really is the true test of the limits to which the human body can be trained and trained in motor movements. It's so impressive it just amazes me every time I set foot in the gym and think about the difference between them and me.

1. Colts - Obviously the same as most others, they're the best divisional rival
2. Dolphins - I've just never seemed to get excited watching them play (didn't follow NFL back in the Marino days so skip the 'Hatorade')
3. Rams - Any team that calls themselves 'The Greatest Show On Turf' really reeks of arrogance IMO
4. Steelers - I have no idea why I have them on this list, I just like them on here for some weird reason
5. Chiefs - I don't like the uniform and they are too up and down to like (much like Cleveland)...

Before I zap you with a neg rep, where exactly is the "Titans retirement home?"
16_6_8.gif

Is this some kind of coded "I Hate Houston" crap?
Please explain...my trigger fanger is gettin' itchy!
14_6_12.gif

Number 5 is referring to Baltimore, as are numbers 1 through 4. He's obviously talking about McNair going to the Ravens at the end of his career. Titans got a lot of bad publicity (if there is such a thing) after this, and I'm sure it didn't sit well.

So cool your trigger finger.

1. Cowboys- because of the fans

2. Titans- because of Bud

3. Steelers- still can't get that taste of the 70's and 80's out of my mouth

Those are the only NFL teams I hate.

Next up, baseball:

Braves and Yankees

College football:

A&M, Miami, Tennessee, Auburn, USC

Basketball:

Lakers, Pistons, Celtics

Steve McNair, Samari Rolle and Derrick Mason were all hijacked from the Titans by Brian Buttlick and the Ratbirds.
Houston doesn't even make the make the top (or bottom) 10 - sorry.

1. Dullas ..because of Jerruh..:worm:. I was never a dullas fan but the way he treated Landry was abhorrent.

2. Dullas .. because of obnoxious fans.. :stooges:..still living in the last century and bragging about super bowls. Most were not even born when dullas last won a super bowl.

3. Dullas .. because of the replys this posting will get from these same fans I am referring to.

4. Steelers .. Any Houston fan knows why.

5. Buffalo .. See #4.

:coffee:

I don't follow other teams too closely, but it seems I read a lot in the local rag about the Titans locking McNair out of their facilities and all but run him off. Is this incorrect?

Don't recall reading the particulars on Rolle and Mason.

1. Dallas - I do not like a lot of their fanbase and I don't care for the way they tend to do business. I do like me some of that Bill Parcells press conference action. He is hilarious.

2. Titans - Division. It is terrible when NFL franchises skip town. It is worse when the owner is someone who purports to love the city he does that to and continues to live and do business there. The manner in which he tried to get a new stadium was astoundingly tone-deaf and was designed for failure, and I never want anything good to happen to that franchise ever.

3. Jaguars - I do not like their fans. I do not like a lot of their players. In division.

4. Colts - I like many of their fans but do not like the Peyton. I could go the whole rest of my life without him advertising something. In division.

5. I have no 5. I used to despise the Steelers but now I am kind of nostalgic looking back at them. I respect what they have been able to do as an organization. I cried some on the way to the last Oiler-Steelers game in the dome, knowing it was the last time that would ever happen again, and what sorts of games those were in the day. Crying makes me mad. The Steelers were ahead, but then the Oilers game back and won. The Oilers players came up to the front of the stands all over the stadium and shook hands and signed autographs. It was a sad win.

1. Titans---I liked McNair. They treated him like crud after all he did for them.

2. Colts---Peeton Manning and...we suck against them.

3. Redskins---Dan Snyder and ugly uniforms

4. Steelers---meh. No reason needed here.

5. Saints---not a Bush thing, not a Brees thing...I just didn't like their black on black uniforms...even if they did beat the crap out of our "brothers" up I-45. Otherwise, I was a fan of Aaronn Brooks.

1. Jaguars - Our players hate that team. Lots of history there.
2. Titans - You don't just pout and move the team when you don't get a stadium. Traitors...
3. Cowboys - I'm so tired of their fans. I guess it really has to do more with their fanbase than the team itself.

Everyone else I kind of like. I like the NFL. :mario:

1: Dallas - i hate their fans and i hate their team.
2: NY Jets - they suck and i love it.
3: New England - stop winning you bastards.
4: Philadelphia - horrible fans, horrible city.
5: Miami - there are times when i hate them more than any other team.

1)Colts- 0-9 nuff said
2)Bills- older brothers team (never shuts up) 4 Super Bowl losses in a row
3)New England- was a big Drew Bledsoe fan back in the day and they screwed him.
4) Falcons- Can't stand Ron Mexico or his brother
5)Detroit Lions- to qoute the great Homer Simpon "suckiest bunch of sucks who ever sucked"

1A. Washington - Outright loathe the team.
1B. Philly - Outright loathe their fans, extremely dislike their team.
3. I guess I can't come up with more than two. All my hate is spent on those two. :)

the teams I dislike relate back to the early 1980's when the NFL was first shown regularly on British TV. All the kids that got into it jumped on the 49ers, Redskins and Dolphins bandwagons.

I refused and I got called a glory hunter for following the Bears.

This lot and Dallas - and I disliked Dallas long before the Texans were even a twinckle NcNairs eyes.

I'd now add Atlanta to my dislike list along with the Colts, Titans, Jags and St Louis.

Titans-Bud Adams
Colts-Hate them
Cowboys-Ditto
Seahawks-Just don't like their fans
Redskins-Don't like their fans

I could have put Jacksonville, but how can you hate someone that consistantly gets you a couple wins per year?

Cowboys (above posts, also "Americas Team" is ten times more arrogant than "The Greastest Show On Turf." There wasn't a lot of "turf" in the NFL by then which I think had a little to do with the slogan in the first place)

Titans (above posts cover it well)
Bills (never liked them, the comeback didn't help)
Bears (dislike Chicago sports fans in general)
Jets (enjoy seeing Mike Greeny of "M&M In The Morning" Eat Crow, among other reasons)

Honorable mention.....Cincinnati (Wyche, Esiason) and the old AFC Central foes of Houston. Reasons are still mounting for AFC South rivals not mentioned above.

Watched football since the Baltimore Colts won SBV. Met a lot of fans of other teams along the way, so the fans with the most class are the ones whose teams I respect. Some teams have more (bandwagon) fans, and some get no publicity. Here's my list starting with the most detestable:

Buffalo- Having lived in Montreal (where they show New England games) & Toronto (Buffalo games), I couldn't believe how much more class New England fans have. It isn't even close. Buffalo fans are just plain arrogant. I know I'm talking about Canadian fans, so maybe it's not like that in Buffalo-but even Dallas fans are cool up here. Good thing their fan base up here is vitually non-existant outside Toronto.

Philadelphia-Is this place civilized? Probably the only thing Montreal & Toronto can agree on. Even with Mike Schad on the team I couldn't cheer for them.

Oakland-Okay, this one is not about the fans. In the 70's the Raiders were the football equivalent of a goon hockey team. The reason I like football more than hockey is because of all the nonsense that takes place after the whistle in hockey. Nothing wrong with hard nosed football (smashing hits). Knock it off when the play is over. So I could never cheer for Oakland.

That's it for the detestable teams. Now it's the division rivals-but it's not dislike-I'm indifferent to them.

Jacksonville-Division rival. I've never seen a Jacksonville fan other than on TV. Do they really exist?

Indianapolis & Tennessee (tie)-Division rivals. Again, just indifference. Strange that anybody would want to cheer for a "hand me down" team.
