I have found a fan that is as bad or worse than cowboy fan. Yes it's longhorn fan that is still obsessed with VY. I've never seen such obnoxious fans, mostly twenty/thirty something out of shape men wearing orange number ten and titans hats. What the hell is that? I guess this was your rose bowl. We've had titans fans in here for four years and for the most part they are ok but this new strain of virus is the worst and I can barely stomach it. The ones I sat around were trying to pick a fight with anything they could from the opening kick. We kept them drowned out for the most part but it wasn't easy. Please show some good sportsmanship VY fan.

first of all, the title of this thread demands you use the proper term. "arrogant" isn't it- as has been noted, "obsessed" or "bitter" or "obnoxious" is what you are saying.
second, there are probabl more longhorn fans than texans fans in houston, in terms of primitive loyalty.
third, i believe every resident of houston is entitled to express displeasure with the texans as they see fit. the texans are a massively taxpayers subsidized operation- everyone in houston helps to float mcenron's boat.

You are right we can't go back and should move on but yesterday was a chance for folks to vent and to give VY his props!

I think the biggest problem is that many of these same people were saying the Texans should've drafted Young before the draft occurred. There were many others that told them Young wouldn't translate to the NFL and that the only reason they wanted Young in Houston was because of his ties to the University of Texas and the city of Houston.
Now that they've proven to be right (that Young does indeed translate to the NFL and that the Texans should've drafted him), they're taking the opportunity to tell everybody that they were right. And they have that right to do so.
You may not like being told you were wrong (By "you" I don't mean you in particular) and that is why you're perceiving a few individuals you encountered at the game to be the majority.

I can understand how you are upset though. But these Longhorns fans who are mild Texans fans have never been given a reason to be Texans fans. So their QB goes to the Titans, who are doing very well with him at the helm, so it's much easier for them to cheer for the Titans.

Ha Ha - I knew that was coming. Not an Aggie and I too wish we could have it all back and take him or Bush. I'm sick having to watch this team but I sure as hell won't root for VY b/c he's from Houston and went to UT. So the FO did the wrong thing. Well I gotta say some of the Eagles fans and Texans fans around me had a profanity fest going for most of the game but I didn't have my little girl with me then so I just watched the game.
Yesterday I did have my little girl and somewhere around the 3rd quarter the wife was starting to get uneasy cause after the Titans scored some of the drunker fans started to shout out some really profane stuff and she didn't want the little one hearing that (she is at an impressionable age).
I honestly think it was just the booze talking.
