Nice to hear the announcers bash the Texans pick right after the Bush TD.

I'm starting to wonder if the whole media was right after all.

Yep, so far we're getting our rear ends handed to us. If today wasn't bad enough for the Texan rejects, tonight is brutal. Even the analysts are talking about the Texans.

I'm actually embarassed at the lack of effort by the Cowboys on that play.

Bush just jogged into the endzone as 4 guys who had a chance on him just quit on the play.

What did Michaels say?

"The Texans fans have to be thinking what in the hell did we do in the draft"

Those were his exact words.

I've never heard him talk like that before.

Madden didnt even know what to say after Michaels said that. He just started kinda chuckling.

I have to give credit where credit is due. Bush is awesome!

Bush, WOW TD...now Al Michaels is making fun of the Texans

Al Michaels just couldnt resist takin a shot at the Texans after that TD.

I guess they have to make up for all the time lost for games 1 thru 11 when he really didn't do anything.

Does Romo's luck ever run out?

He is playing horrible and Thomas bails him out with the dropped INT & Owens takes it in for the TD.

I'm curious about this challenge.

Karney was never actually out of bounds and he wasnt down so that should be ruled a fumble. He lost the ball before he was down.

The ball went out of the endzone so would it be a touchback?

geez. man its tough for a texans fan today watching the other 2 draft picks look how they do.....not to mention having to hear about it from stupid announcers.

I wouldnt of minded reggie still.

This has gotta be one of the worst called games by refs I have ever seen.

I have seen more than one thing by the refs tonight that I have never seen before.

Just let them play.

You dont need to help the Saints anymore. This game is over.

You definitely dont need to help the Cowboys cuz they are so far back you couldnt win it for them.

The NFL record for yards in a game is 735 by the Rams in 1951.

If the Saints wanted it they could get it. They have 463 in 3 quarters.

NFL record for passing yards in a game is 554 for Norm Van Brocklin in that same game.

Brees has 384 through 3 quarters.

I dont think the Saints will break these records cuz I dont think they will try to run up the score. They would need 272 yards & 170 of it would have to be passing.

But I think that if they wanted to, the Cowboys wouldnt be able to stop them.

Don't it feel nice to see our fellow "brothers" get beat up for once?

The depressed look of the Cowboys brings a smile to my face.

The most amazing thing about this game:

The Saints scored all of their 42 points in a span of less than 20 minutes.

Final tally: Saints 42, Cowboys 17

My players of the game:
1. Drew Brees. 26-38 for 384 yds & 5 TDs.
2. Mike Karney. 8 touches for 53 yds & 3 TDs.

Chumps of the game:
1. Cowboys Offensive Coordinator. Cowboys averaged 7.3 yds per carry and only ran the ball 16 times.
2. Cowboys defense. Gave up 536 yds (377 passing, 159 rushing) & gave up 7.3 yds per play.

No excuses here. We've got some more work to do to earn the recognition of one of the leagues best teams. I hope we can get it together enough to make the playoffs. If not, it certainly wouldn't surprise me to see New Orleans in the Super Bowl.
