If the Texans ask you to sit through another season with David Carr at QB, will you cancel your season tickets?

I am seriously debating this and am leaning toward canceling my PSL's if I have to watch him take a single snap next season.
 
I dont have season tickets, but I know its not all on Carr. Blaming one guy on a team (A TEAM) seems a bit overreacting to me.

Nobody said it was all his fault, but it's obvious that he is completely incompetent. If anyone else in our free market society performed their job like he has they would have been fired years ago.

It would be different if he was smart or good, but he's neither. 2 penalties for throwing the ball past the line of scrimmage? The dude is flat out dumb. I just can't imagine watching his incompetence for another season.

I think it depends on what they do in the off season.

I am a season ticket holder. I sold my tickets today. I know that sounds bad, but my beer is cheaper, my BBQ is better, there is no line to use the restroom, and i have a 60" with a damn good picture. I am a football fan. I love seeing the pregame and the post game stuff along with the 2nd game. It doesn't mean i am not a texan fan.

I probably will get them again, because if I do decide to go, I have that option. But if I don't, I will sell them to someone who does.
 
I won't cancel them. I don't want him back, but I've been a season ticket holder since day one. Well, not exactly day one, but I was at the first preseason game against the Dolphins. I have great seats and have great fans around me. I would not be able to get my money back and even if I could I wouldn't be able to get seats like that without costing even more. I'm a Texans fans and I will continue to support the team no matter who is playing. I may not always be happy or support the decisions of the organization, but giving up my season tickets will hurt me more than them.

He throws one of the best 5-yd hitch routes in the NFL.

I'll be taking those PSL's now.
 
guess it could be worse it could have been the 7th game this year we lost in the 4 quarter or later. yep could be worse

Seriously think about it though. Is there one single thing that David Carr does well as an NFL quarterback. After 5 years and 70 starts there has to be one thing... right???

I think that should count but its your PSL's and you say it doesnt.

Remember when he scored the TD against Miami on the bootleg?

He threw the ball into the stands.

That was a great throw. He throws a helluva nice TD celebration pass.

He also does a nice NY jump shot.

Those happened on the field so I belive they count.

Man, only an ***** would cancel their season tickets. It's still the NFL! It's the best thing going. You can still see other teams and players even if you're mad at the Texans organization.
 
In all seriousness, anyone who is planning to cancel their season tickets next year, keep me in mind. I have been trying to move for a couple years and all the people saying they'll cancel have either ben FOS, or they haven't had seats in the 300s or 100s. I'm still shopping. TIA.

Wonger, we were ready to dump our season tickets last year if Carr was brought back. HOWEVER, we had to pay the first installment before the organization made the decision on Carr's option so we had to bite the bullet cause we were already in bed for a grand plus the PSL...

needless to say, we will not be renewing unless Carr is no longer a part of the Texans organization....regretfully we will have to pay our 1st installment before any decision is probably made final...this time we will just assume McNair will do something stupid, so we will just sell the PSL and spend our money elsewhere

its just an embarassing organization both on and off the field
 
Psychotically.... no, I won't cancel my tickets as I'm assuming Kubiak will have finished his "year of the evaluation", discussed it in depth with his boss and GM over the early offseason - especially in relation to "how to get the fans back after the VY media game" and come up with the best solution based on multiple perspectives, input, what's going on around the league, and scouting reports.

Heck - that would be a lot better than trading 2 picks to grab another player based on a couple of game tapes and knowing "how they do it in the nfl".

I'm not a David Carr fan, I'm a Houston Texans fan. :texflag:

Doesn't mean that I'll be happy about the decision, but this, too, shall pass.
 
:tease: Runs down field. One of the better running quarterbacks in the NFL. Not a M. Vick or V. Young but not a Bledsoe either.
