What is holding us back?

fdknuckles

Practice Squad
It seems as if every week it is one part or another of the overall "Texans" game holding them back, whethet it's -5 passing yards or -3 turnovers. Where did we go wrong??? What will fix our beloed Texans?
What are the missing pieces we need to get to the playoffs?:brickwall

A winning attitude. We need to bring in guys with backgrounds on winning teams in free agency and the draft.

Only then can we be able to get the losing stinch of the Capers/Casserly era out of Houston forever!!!

I am flat tired of this, just say what you want to say and stop beating around the bush!

If your asking for real then here it is,................

NO BODY NO TEAM could care less about our running game, Wali Lundy OOOOOOOOO! Ron Dayne, "watch out he could get lose and rush for 100+ , it is all on the Passing game each and every game it is on the passing games sholders and that is too much for them right now, YOU cant go into a game with NO running game, you cant be 1 demetional, Defenses will eat your face, In order for the PA to work there must be something there to fake!

A QB that can win shoot outs.

A running game.

An offensive line.

A second WR that can stretch the field.

Another pass rush DE

A DT

A CB

Two OLB'S

Two Safeties.

A FG kicker who can make field goals.

And a punter that kicks over 20 yards.

Once we get those couple of areas shored up we should be cherry!

How many rounds are in the draft?

Funny it could get to be pretty hard to win shoot outs if your line is bad (AGAIN)

boy, that could have been solved last April

Oh god, not everyone wanted Vince Young.

We already have double the wins from last year, sometimes it takes baby steps, chill out people.

Injuries have set us back quite a bit. No running game? Domanick Davis. No protection? Spencer and Weigart...and to a certain extent Flannagan.

your right, all the others wanted reggie bush!

Nope, I wanted Mario. :mario3: :mario2: :mario:

While Vince may turn out to be the better pick, I based my selection on Kubiak saying he could turn Carr around. He has helped him to improve his stats. Kubiak cannot make the decisions on the field and cannot make him more of a leader than he is. Carr has all the physical tools and this is why Kubiak said he could turn him around. Unfortunately, Carr's psyche was torn apart the first 4 years and I just don't know if his career is salvageable. His career with the Texans is on the line these last 4 games.

If Carr is no longer the QB of this team at the end of the year, will Carr apologists do an about-face and admit they were wrong? I know that there are more things wrong with this team than just it's QB play, but he's been the common denominator for the last 4.5 years, right?

Besides, what starting QB hasn't thrown a TD in the last 6 games and has ever passed for negative net yards?

sure you did

There is not enough core NFL starting quality players on the Texans to be consistently successful as a whole.

A QB that can win shoot outs and passing plays that go more than five yards.

A running game.

An offensive line.

A second WR that can stretch the field and a first WR that can catch.

Another pass rush DE

A DT

A CB#1 so Dunta can go to #2 where he's at his best

Two OLB'S

A FS who can cover.

Made a few changes - with those I agree 100%
