ESPN commentators made a huge error in misrepresenting the Philadelphia fans on Monday night.
Jeff Garcia was hit with a huge shot in which he got up a bit groggy. AJ Feely started to warm up on the sidelines and the crowd started to cheer. AJ played in Philly before and the fans love the guy. They love all their backup quarterbacks.
Garcia got up and the fans were heard to be booing. The ESPN clueless ones then expressed their disgust at the horrible Philadelphia fans for booing Garcia getting up and began to reash the Philly ugliness.
Well... for those of you not at Lincoln Financial, the story dramatically different. As Garcia was getting up, the replay was being shown on the humongeous jumbotron screen that virtually fills the entire back portion of the endzone stands. They showed the hit that was extremely violent and very much worthy of a personal foul penalty. Admidst all of the ticky tack BS calls that have been made this year on defenders on quarterbacks, the boos were for the cheap shot and the lack of a penalty being called.
Good job clueless ones! Kudos to the four letter network for destroying Monday Night Football and anything else football in its wake!
