Just curious.

Are there any fans out there wanting us to run a two minute drill??

Seriously though, I would be all in favor of anything that could help create a tempo and limit what defensive packages can be brought in...

Our 2-minute drill just gives points to the other team. Fool me once, shame on the offensive line. Fool me twice, shame on David Carr. Fool me thrice, shame on Gary Kubiak.

But we won't get fooled again.

Or something.

Wow..... three fumbles, and the opponent scores 7 points off us, and we still want to run a 2 minute drill..... I wouldn't have guessed it.

At this point we aren't playing for anything other than pride, respect, yada yada......

We should run anything and everything....

Did I mention those three fumbles were in the last 2 minutes of the first half?? Just imagine if we were trying to hurry up....

Just a question for those who picked "no":

Would your tune change if it were a different QB ?

2 minutes drill? At this point, I don't Carr running a 60 minutes drill. Why the hell would I want him ruining, er, running a 2 minute drill? I think the new offense should be take a knee three times and punt.

I don't know. I think I'd want to see our offense play the rest of the season mistake free.... if they can do that, then I might let them try it against the browns.

But I don't think it's just Carr.. if he'd have thrown the ball to AJ, or Owen, or Lundy/Dayne.... something makes me think the results would have been the same, or just as bad.

Right now..... let's just learn how to play football.

IMO, the QB is THE most important component of the 2 minute drill....

True football is a team sport, but I'm just from the school of thought that the QB runs the show, and when there is a play to be made, he needs to make it....

I chose "yes"....The reason I chose yes is because, at this point, we're playing for the sake of playing basically....We might as well work on all the things that we have trouble with....I know that you shouldn't tank games, but I don't look at it as tanking....I look at it as being wise and using these last few games as a gauge for next year.....If at the end of the season we still don't have faith that our Offense(David Carr) can run the 2 minute drill IMO, that is a HUGE problem going into the 07/08 season. I say lets play every and anybody that you have in uniform...Work on your play calling....work on plays you've had trouble with....It's time to start gearing your thoughts toward next yr.....This one's a wrap....

Are you trying to be sneaky Thunderkyss? Of course we should run a 2 minute drill -- practice makes perfect...

If Carr is the QB, no. He does not have the experience nor is he gifted enough to overcompensate for our deficiencies elsewhere.

The total cost of ownership on this train wreck is a joke. Let's fix the Texans. I am sick of fixing for Carr's betterment.

I can understand that reasoning, but I don't want to be at the bottom of the AFC South again.

Are you trying to be sneaky Thunderkyss?

Yup..........

Carr is just as likely to screw up in the 3rd quarter as the last two minutes of the half. What does it really matter?

I guess you haven't seen the statistics....

I think statistically speaking, In the last two minutes, Carr is the worse QB of all time....LMAO....

I literally laughed out loud here at work when I read this. Thanks for the lol Porky. You don't mind if I use it for a signature, do ya? Freaking hilarious!

2 min drill sounds great, let's run the ball a whole lot :)

Now I can see why Kubiak's been calling running plays near halftime in earlier games, it sure beats 3 fumbles :)
