Johnson Outburst!!!!

I'm not sure if they showed it on television, but the final interception by David Carr, attempting to throw a slant to Andre Johnson, finally unleashed the real "Angry Dre'". After Macklin went racing down the sideline, Johnson returned to the sideline to throw his helmet into the wall! After standing near the far end of the sideline, an equipment manager brought the helmet back for Johnson to return to the field after the ensuing kickoff, He Refused to return to the game, much to my delight! This is the most passion I have seen from any player in the first three seasons. Not only was he disappointed by the teams performance, but also not getting the rock and most likely, the poor playcalling! Davis touches the ball "33" times!!!! What is that! I realize 'dre was being shadowed in the perfect scheme to stop our offense, cover two, & having (3) men always in his area, but what happened to the quick out? Crossing patterns? Deep ball and let him have a shot! Payton Manning can afford to throw 2 balls at Marvin Harrison, he has Edgerin, Reggie, Stockley, Dallas, Pollard, and a offensive line that can keep our soldiers clean in a dirty war, but WE NEED TO GET THE BALL TO OUR MOST EXPLOSIVE WEAPON, and GIVE HIM A SHOT TO MAKE PLAYS! We played right into Indy's hands on offense. If their blitzing, a quick out will stop that. Playing zone, underneathe will kill that! Come up close and going deep with our speed will destroy them. I'm not saying fire Palmer, but we need better adjustments and need them faster during game situations. Did Dre' have a right to be mad........heck yeah, and hopefully his passion and anger will spark something for this entire team!!!! I was ready to leap from the stands and start something up out there myself.................Boy is it going to be a long flight back to Houston!!!!!!! :whew

You write it, why won't you say it!! Its the coaching staff and its obvious. Everyone is talking about all of the faults and what's happening, and then they say, its not the coaches. BS. Capers is not an under fire type of leader. All he can say is fellas you need to execute at the other teams level. Yes, and why don't you look and figure out why your very talented team can't perform at the other team's level. The games we have won have been by the grace of god.

The one thing I will say on Caper's behalf, however, is that the organization has depended too much on the return of injured players particularly in the case of the D line. Caper's might be a part of that too, but I really don't know. I would assume that rests with Casserly.

Defensively we are really a very injured ball club and the offensive side of the ball is moving very rapidly in that direction now.

Didn't Johnson yell after that last interception " Damn the 3-4"? Just asking, I thought I could read lips on the tv. :)

What does Carr throwing the interception have anything to do with the Texans defensive scheme? Get a clue man......

Ibar, not necessarily calling you out. But to quite a few posters out there, understandable it's our right as fans to call sh** as sh** as we see it... but how can we blame the coaches solely or the players solely?

Coaches may prep the team to the highest level all week with films, practices, etc but if THE day comes around and the players don't execute.....

Flip side, we have those talented players who can make those awesome plays and strike fear in the opposition, but if the coaches can't combine the indivdual talents to be focused as a team and not the "me first" attitude.....

It's a team effort on all levels. If one cog is out of place the team suffers and helmets get thrown on the sideline. It's gonna be up to each person related to the TEXANS to look at themselves and say "what can I do better".

If they follow that up with "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and dog gonnit - the TEXAN fans like me"... well, that's just a bonus.

This week's game will be the test, they are home on national TV, they will not/ cannot blow this one. This will easily be the toughest and most intense week of preparation in Texans history.

Honestly, at the beginning of the season did anyone pick us to win these 2 games? Hell, 3 weeks ago I predicted these losses... just not in this way. The problems will be corrected this week and if they aren't, everyone has the right to start bit.ching and moaning, but I have a feeling there is no way the team will come out flat on Sunday.

I'm not one for calling for the coaches heads, but I will say the past two games the guys have looked to everyone, even the announcers, like they just weren't prepared to play the game at hand.

I believe this is where the coaches come in, they have to get their guys ready and keep them focused.

We don't need to fire Capers, mainly because there isn't anyone availble who is better, but maybe McNair needs to give him a talk.

After Macklin went racing down the sideline,

Actually David Macklin now plays for the Cardinals. That was Rookie CB Von Hutchins out of Ole Miss.

I also did not understand the running game with the Texans behind by 2 or more TD's. I was really hopeing for some arial attack as Carr is my FF QB.

You better watch out for Green Bay next week. Their offense is very similar to the Colts. Lots of weapons with a downfield minded QB.

Settle down Oiler fan, its a knock on several posts putting the blame on everything from the 3-4 to the kitchen sink. Notice the smiley face at the end, it was sarcasm. Learn it.
