A West Virginia victory, over Rutgers will likely put the Scarlet Knights, currently 10-1 in Houston . A Rutgers victory would then set up a visit from either West Virginia or Louisville .

Have no idea how Rutgers or Louisville would support their teams, but if they
could get a combination of something along the lines of W.Virginia vs. Oklahoma State, the game would be well attended by their fans and alumni.

this is the biggest game in rutgers' history. if they beat WVU, they go to the rose bowl most likely. if they lose, it's the texas bowl. wow.

Aw no ! You don't mean our fair city lacks the appeal and glamor of Hollywood ? That can't be, can it ?
I dunno, but is their a scenario where W. Virginia goes to the Rose Bowl ?
Imagine the story line, real hillbillies become Beverly hillbillies for a week.

I kind of feel sorry for those teams, having their Bowl game televised on a network that only like half of cable companies carry.

NEWARK, N.J. -- Rutgers football fans hoping to watch their team in the Texas Bowl later this month may be better off going to Manhattan -- the one in Kansas, that is.
The hometown of bowl opponent Kansas State is likely to have better coverage since the NFL Network, which has exclusive rights to televise the game, is not carried on two cable companies that serve more than 1 million of New Jersey's 2.5 million cable subscribers, not to mention most of New York City.

And the half that doesn't apparently includes the NJ-NY area which is
Rutgers fan base. Of course that couldn't do anything but help attendance
at Reliant for the game.

Plus the great cable company, Warner Cable is the one in this dispute so most Houston household will not get this game. And that just plain sucks.

I've spent some time in your part of the country, and I never met a finer people. They were also very humble and genuine, and they treated me in a very repectful manner. And they were a lot of fun to.
If I offended, my apologies.
