Jags to make stadium smaller

There was talk last week about how the Jags could not sell out their stadium...saw this on their website:

Shawn from Three Rivers, MI: For the last year or so everyone kept saying the stadium wouldn't be filled until we started winning. Well, we are winning. What is it going to take for the Jacksonville faithful to step up to the plate and fill the stadium weekly? I know it's a small market and a big stadium but can you give me a real answer, like maybe Jag fans aren't as faithful as they all think they are?

Vic: It's going to take a smaller stadium, which is what the Jaguars are going to make Alltel Stadium next year when 8,000-12,000 seats are covered.

That was annouced during the offseason, it will make the Jags stadium about the size of the most NFL stadiums by reducing the seating to about 65-68k

Yeah, they can sellout the Gator Bowl but not a Pro team. Move the franchise
to another state where it would be appreciated. I love the Jags.

They dont' sell out the Gator Bowl every year try some facts next time...

Can they make it small enough to get a sellout?

well all they need is the owners box ,,,with NFL sunday ticket who wants to go to a jags game ???

You can't watch it in Jacksonville even if you have Sunday ticket if it's blacked out... FYI

They are just making it more the size of most stadiums, over 90% of the games that have been blacked out would have been sellouts in any other stadium in the league..

I'm desperate for a pro ball team in San Antonio, basketball don't count. Or maybe they should paint their seats diff colors like they did in LA way back when, it gives the illusion like they have fans...
