Why Kubiak Why?????

we had a winnable challenge, Cook did not have both feet down and did not do any "football move", at worst Gary we lose challenge and timeout, BUT if we win (and I believe we would have) retain possesion with 5 minutes to go and a chance to win....I hope he has a really good explanation for tanking a winnable game.:brickwall

The good reason may be he wants a new QB and the more games we lose the better draft pick we get, so in theory we get the better QBs. Umm I don't know if it would have been a winable challenge though, it looked like he had time to make the cut back and take a step. I only watched it in regular speed. Stoped watching after that.

Obvious fumble. He even had enough time to juke to the right.
did you watch the game at all, he was in arms of defender. I am not sure which game you were watching, but Cook made no move after catching the ball. or maybe you need to look at rules for incomplete pass

Cook caught the ball in the air, came down on both fee, took a step to the right, then got hit.

It was a fumble.

But so was the play with the Giants' kicker...

Er? Are you serious?

He made a juke move after he caught it and was then tackled.

The fumble by Cook was obvious. He caught the ball, juked, and then lost the ball when he got hit.

I would have been pissed if he would have challenged.

It's amazing to me how people will view the same footage of a play, and see two totally different things. This is the reason why I am against instant replay.

Quinn & Brohm will be no better behind our line than Carr is.
But what about Troy Smith?

Seriously though the line has been playing better. Giving up only 1 sack that really wasn't caused by the D at all. It's just a matter of throwing the deep ball more. I wish Davis was here to have a great two back threat. One that's much better than the Lundy/Dayne one we had today.

Actually, the first challenge was pretty stupid. We had the ball anyway and would have gained only a few yards. The play was blown dead so we couldn't have advanced it.

I think they (THE COACHES)got excited and thought they might get the TD.

oh really one sack and our offensive line is horrible???? They have improved if you haven't noticed. Stop following Carr like a puppy and open your eyes.
Are you freakin kiddin me.

Why dont you take of your Carr hater glasses.

Do you honestly think that Quinn & Brohm would play better on our team than Carr next year?

Unfortunately, the Cook fumble was the correct call, but can someone explain to me what happened on the Giants' kicker fumble? That looked like an obvious catch and then fumble after the hit! And the Mario penality looked like a bad call too. The announcers even said Manning was still on the field when Mario pushed him out. :brickwall Did anyone see anything different on those plays?

No. They were blown calls.

Uhmm Sage sure played quite well against the Titan's 1st string and our so called "crappy" offense. Our offense has done better protecting this year than last year. Our problem with what I see from the offense is opening a hole for the running back. oh yeah what about the first half of the game? Why no scoring a touchdown by Carr?
Maybe it has something to do with the Giants having one of the top defenses in the league.

I dont know. Thats just a guess.

It was a fumble. He didn't challenge because he knew he needed all the timeouts to stop the clock when the Giants took over. We had a chance to stop them on 3rd down and they made the play. Oh well. Time for the jags.

Superstar, you are one of the most negative people on this board so I dont see why you think you have any reason for calling me out.

It was an obvious fumble by Cook.

At first glance, I thought it may have been an incomplete pass, but you could clearly see it during the replays. As many other said, Cook caught the ball turned around, juked right, then got hit and fumbled.

You called our offense horrible because of Carr not doing his best. Yet we faced a top rated defense and held them to one sack. That is what I am calling you out. I am not negative poster just on Carr. I love this team and they show improvement. Carr's confidence is what is lacking improvement. He proved me wrong about the touchdown, which I like. But he seriously still needs work.
The only negative thing I said was not even about Carr.

I said that Brohm & Quinn would be playing worse than Carr next year if they are on our team.

I have never said a bad thing about our offensive talent.

I am the one who pointed out that the Giants have a top defense, not you. So I dont know why you would try to use that against me.

I never said anything about our offense being horrible.

You should probably start reading everything twice so that you understand it before you grab a soapbox.

The whole team needs work. That is why Casserley, Capers, and co. are all gone. It ain't gonna happen over night or in half a season. However, if you want to continue to rile yourselves up over what you believe should be a contender, go ahead.

The whole arguement started when I responded to this statement by saying that Carr is better than any QB we would draft next year.

If anything, you should be going after that guy, not me.

hate to bring some people to reality but Carr is not the worst problem for the Texans..

we need help in linebacker area, cornerback/safety area and then some.

Yeah, what Sage did last week behind our line was a complete fluke. 21 points in less than 2 quarters. Today I wait a full 3 quarters to see 7. Our line takes a lot of crap for our mediocre quarterback.

I swear I'm not a Carr hater, just a frustrated Texans fan that has been waiting 5 years now for this team to come together and do something. I want nothing more than for this team to come together but I am sick of people making excuses for David Carr.
