Anyone have a clip of mario's sack?

powerfuldragon

Enchilada Aficionado.
does anyone have the clip (or the ability to upload the clip) of mario annhilating the young manning?
also, the lip of earl ruining jeremy shockey might be nice too.

Just look for it on ESPN, oh wait my bad they don't show Texans footage. Well maybe they'll show some Giants clips, but I doubt that will be in there. I'm sure the Mario explosion will be though.

No, Stuart Scott will start screaming on Regge Bush's awesome game today. And Peter King will continue to proclaim him as the best rookie this year. And the entire ESPN empire will continue to build their Reggie Bush statue in front of their headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut (us Texans fans will have to topple that statue).

Problem is that i don't have cable... I was hoping somebody here had caught it and would put it up on YouTube or something of that sort.

That was actually the first time Mario earned a sack all on his own, and he came right back the next play and got Manning again, although it went down as an incomplete pass, still a crucial play in the game. He looks like he's getting sealed too easily on the ends, though, so let's hope he improves there as well.

This was Mario's break out game. Glad to see he made a couple of drive/game changing plays.

His mock jump shot after the sack was awesome. That makes two weeks in a row he made sacks without help of any other players. He is certainly coming around and looking better every week. Next on the checklist is a multisack game.

That was good, but DC's was better.

Leaping TD's:
DC: 1
RB: 0

Break out game, huh? What did he do this game that made it a break out game? I'm not challenging you, just wondering what you see differently from the past four games that I don't see.

I was wondering that too. The unassisted sack was amazing, but he only had one other tackle all game. He had a great game but a break out would be a multi-sack game where he completely shuts down the run and forces a fumble. Otherwise it's just a good game from a good player.

Impact plays. Sacking a QB in a critical drive...giving your team a chance to win the game by changing the game with a big play. Stuff like that. I haven't seen any impact game changing type plays from him before today.

He got pretty quite after the penalty though. Probably started thinking to much after getting hollard at.
as a DE you are only going to make a handful of plays that kill a drive every game. At least we got a glimpse of some of that today. Before today all his sacks were really not impact plays....touching Lefty when he is down, sacking VY when he is running and not in the pocket, falling on Anthony Weaver's sack and falling on Demeco's sack weren't really impact plays for Mario...those were impact plays for Demeco and Weaver imo.

Him and DeMeco on that drive. That was amazing. Our top two rookies are really paying dividends at this point. You could argue that thats why we were in the game.

He did that against Miami as well.

But that wasn't to take them out of our territory, therefore giving them 0 points on the drive. The one in the Miami game was after a score to keep our momentum going. Different level of impact defensive play.

I think he was referring to the tipped ball on the 2 pt. conversion.

Disagree on the play on VY. He blew up a designed screen by jumping. He forced VY to pull it down and run and was athletic enough to run him down behind the LOS. Where I'd like to see more plays is against the run. Rewatching some of the games this season, he's been very good against the run in the middle, but has had real trouble at containing the edge.

Yeah, I noticed he seemed to disappear after that call as well. He'll learn to deal with it though. I think he's gonna be alright. Moving on though, if Earl's hit on Shockey doesn't appear on Monday night's Jacked up that would be a travesty. Shockey got laid out bad.

It's a good thing Plax wasn't playing or the entire world would see how bad Earl and Brown are. Nice hit, though. Ever since Marcus Coleman and Matt Stevens I have longed for a FS that isn't afriad to lay the smack down. Well, we got one, but he can't cover worth a crud.

There were several pathes he cut off today of Tiki Barber which forced Tiki to go up the middle instead of outside. Sadly, there was no one in the middle (that often) that could capitilize on the direction change.

In my opinion, I thought he was already making impact plays. But I can see your point though. He was very disruptive today, especially on that one series when he and Meco help put the Giants out of field goal range.

Here's one from the chronic.... picture only.

hahhahahaha. Go back and watch it again, but this time focus on Bob Whitfield, and how he gets flung to the ground about 5 feet away. Good stuff.

That was impressive, but I liked the other "no sack" play even better, where they ruled that Mannings arm was going forward. It could have easily been ruled a sack and fumble. I believe those 2 plays were in the same series of downs ?

So of the whole game, The sack was the only thing worth reading here? You guys are something else. Ok, Mario put a nice move on a 36 year old year tackle with crutches. Good job mario! Jessica simpson could have gotten a sack against Bob whittfield. M Williams is overrated. Kiwanuka strahan and Umenyiora are the best. By the way, how does it feel being 2-6 and not playoff contenders?

yeah he pushed a 300 lb guy with one hand and sent him flying 6 feet behind manning as he was sacking him. I'd love to see Jessica Simpson do that. eh?

Lol, ok. By the way, why are you on these boards...to just talk a bunch of crap?
